Low Cost Fast Charge Contactor for High Voltage Battery Management Systems
A battery management system (BMS) connected to a battery having a positive end and a negative end, the BMS also connected to a fast charger. The BMS includes: a battery management controller protection circuit board (PCB) configured to manage an operation of the battery; a charger controller PCB configure to control fast charging of the battery; and a fast charge contactor positioned between one of the positive and negative ends of the battery and the fast charger. No fast charge contactor is positioned between the other of the positive and negative ends of the battery and the fast charger. The BMS is configured to determine a location of an isolation fault by connecting and disconnecting one or more resistors.
Drive system
A drive system for operation of a roll top cover for covering a cargo bed of a vehicle enables improved and smoother roll top cover movement. The drive system includes: an elongate housing that defines a longitudinal axis and first and second ends, the housing including an axially extending aperture for receiving the roll top cover therethrough; first and second receiving plates disposed transversely within the housing at the respective first and second ends thereof, the receiving plates comprising opposed spiral-shaped slots extending therethrough, each of the spiral-shaped slots having an open end proximally and a closed end distally; and a drive shaft assembly disposed within the housing and extending axially between the first and second ends thereof; wherein the drive shaft assembly is adapted for being operably connected to a drive chain and driving movement thereof within the spiral-shaped slots during operation of the roll top cover.
Apparatus for moving and securing articles in a pickup truck cargo bed
An apparatus is provided for moving and securing articles in a pickup truck cargo bed. The pickup truck cargo bed may have opposing sidewalls, cab wall, tailgate, and floor. The apparatus comprises a plurality of tracks configured to connect to the pickup truck cargo bed, the plurality of tracks extending substantially along a longitudinal length of the pickup truck cab and defining a channel. A push plate slidably is mounted to the plurality of tracks with a movement member, and the push plate configured to stand perpendicular to the floor. The apparatus also comprises an actuator in mechanical communication with the push plate, the actuator configured to move the push plate to a desired position in the pickup truck cargo bed. An adjustable enclosed area is defined by the push plate, opposing side walls, and tail gate.
Vacuum excavator tank and door system
A collection tank for a mobile vacuum excavator includes a front with a closed end, a rear with an open end, a door configured to be closed over the open end, and a linkage assembly having a first end attached to the door and a second end attached to the body. A first pivotal movement drives the first end and second end away from each other, and a second pivotal movement moves the first end and the second end toward each other. An actuator is attached to the first arm and to the second arm so that actuation of the actuator in a first direction drives the first pivotal movement and actuation of the actuator in a second direction drives the second arm the second pivotal movement.
UNMANNED VEHICLE AND DELIVERY SYSTEM
The unmanned vehicle for delivering an article, includes a housing portion for housing the article, the housing portion being provided with an openable and closable door, the door being closeable on a receiving surface of the article. Then, the unmanned vehicle identifies a direction of wind blown onto the unmanned vehicle; and on the basis of the identified direction of the wind, suppresses closing of the door, opened when the unmanned vehicle is stopped, due to an influence of the wind.
Vehicle Having a Flap Unit for an Opening on the Vehicle
A vehicle having at least one vehicle exterior structure and a movable flap unit for covering an opening in the vehicle exterior structure, particularly a loading opening or tank opening of the vehicle. At least one gesture sensor module is provided and the flap unit has at least one screen which is mounted movably on the vehicle exterior structure. The screen covers the opening in the vehicle exterior structure in the closed position and releases access to the opening in the open position. The gesture sensor module is configured to detect a predetermined first actuation process and to trigger an opening process of the screen when the screen is closed, and to detect a predetermined second actuation process and to trigger a closing operation of the screen when the screen is open.
Removable roof vent
A vent for mobile living quarters has a base and a cover coupled to the base. The cover is connected to the base and pivots about a hinge by a mechanism that is coupled to a moving bar. The moving bar is attached to the cover by fasteners on one end and an alignment tab on the opposite end. The cover is user-replaceable from the top side without having to move or disconnect the mechanism. To replace the cover, fasteners are removed and the cover is pivoted away from the moving bar, where the alignment tab disengages from the cover. The cover is then slidable along the hinge to completely remove the cover from the base. A new replacement cover is slid along the hinge and the alignment tab is engaged with the replacement cover. The cover is pivoted down to a closed position and the fasteners are reinstalled.
In mold assembly of two hinges
The present invention is directed to a 4-bar kinematic link component and method for forming the 4-bar kinematic link using a single rotary molding tool. The invention eliminates the need to form individual components of the bracket from several different tools, which will then requires additional assembly steps. The 4-bar kinematic link is formed from two different materials each having a different in mold shrinkage value. This allows for hinge pins to be formed through a base component in a way that will prevent sticking of the components together thereby allowing the parts to have it relative to one another using the hinge pin. The final component is a 4-bar kinematic link that can be used as a 4 bar link mechanism for providing motion.
Apparatus and method to provide access to shared vehicles without power locks
A vehicle sharing system for use with a vehicle. The vehicle sharing system comprises: i) a lockbox mounted on an exterior of the vehicle, the lockbox including a vehicle key that opens a door of the vehicle; and ii) a vehicle sharing control module disposed in the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle sharing control module communicates with the lockbox in order to open a door associated with the lockbox in response to a first command message received from a mobile device associated with a user. The lockbox is mounted on a license plate holder of the vehicle and the license plate is mounted on the door of the lockbox.
