A shower threshold and a method of implementing a shower threshold are disclosed. The shower threshold includes an elongated base component having one or more sidewalls extending from a base region of the elongated base component to an apex of the elongated base portion. The shower threshold also includes a flexible cap coupled to and extending from the elongated base component along the apex of the elongated base component. The flexible cap may be composed of a plurality of layers. The plurality of layers includes a core layer and a shell layer. The core layer is composed of a material that is softer than the shell layer.

A threshold assembly has an interior side, an exterior side opposite the interior side, a top side, and a bottom side opposite the top side and includes a substrate and a sill deck. The sill deck is attached to the substrate and includes a deck cover and a sill track. The deck cover may be positioned over a portion of the substrate. The deck cover extends towards the exterior side of the threshold assembly. The sill track has an attachment wall, an exterior wall, and a bottom wall, the attachment wall is positioned on an exterior side of the substrate. The exterior wall is positioned on an exterior side of the attachment wall and defines the exterior side of the threshold assembly. The attachment wall and the exterior wall define a channel therebetween with the channel being open upward and closed on the bottom by the bottom wall.
DOOR THRESHOLD WITH A COLD-BRIDGING BREAK
The invention relates to a door threshold with a cold-bridging break, which includes cast floor plates 1 and 2 that are on opposite sides of the door threshold, and reinforcement bars 3 connecting them. Between the floor plates 1 and 2, there is a vertical thermal insulation plate 4 with an edge running in the direction of the door threshold, the upper edge of the vertical thermal insulation plate 4 is covered by a generally U-shaped door threshold cover profile 5. Reinforcement bars 3 are made of non-metallic material, vertical thermal insulation plate 4 is a cellular glass plate, and U-shaped cover profile 5 is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).

A window or door has a fixed frame and leaf which, in its sliding position, can be slid in the extension direction or parallel to the extension direction of a running rail and which, transversely to the sliding direction, is movable in a positively controlled manner from its latching position into the sliding position and back into the latching position. The fixed frame has a sill modularly adaptable to different window and door variants with a main profile on which an intermediate profile is mounted. The intermediate profile has a first bearing portion, which bears against the fixed frame in a first sealing plane of the leaf. The sill may have a multitude of profiles which have a cross-section that remains constant in the extension direction. A second sealing plane is defined by a second bearing portion of the step profile.
