There is provided a sash apparatus for securing in a window or a door, and a methods making same. The sash apparatus comprises a frame with multiple segments securable to the window or door, where each of the segments has an internal passage therein. The multiple segments are arranged and coupled together at non-straight angles to form the frame, with the internal passages within the segments in fluid communication with one another. The sash apparatus also includes a bonding fill at least partially filling the internal passages within the frame to hold the multiple segments together.

SLIDABLE PANEL FRAME ASSEMBLY HAVING THERMAL BREAKS AND METHOD THEREFOR
20210355745 · 2021-11-18 ·

A thermally-broken slidable panel frame assembly formed from a plurality of aluminum profile assemblies. The aluminum profile assemblies can include different shaped aluminum profiles that can be coupled together with thermal break strips. The aluminum profile assemblies, in turn, can be snap fitted together to form a complete frame assembly that can support slidable panels. The frame assembly can be integrated with other components to form a slidable panel system for sliding doors or windows or other slidable panels. The frame assembly is assembled from multiple individual components, providing for ease in setup and installation compared to previous implementations.
