A door (10) comprising a door member having a rectangular frame (22) on which components forming the door member are assembled. The frame includes top, side and a bottom frame member (24, 26a, 26b, 28). The frame is sized and shaped to fit within an opening (P) in a sidewall (S) of a portable building (B). A foam panel (16) fits in the frame. Door panels (12, 14) are affixed to the outsides of the foam panel using an adhesive material. The result is a laminated door that can be lowered and raised for moving people and objects into and out of the building.

A method of assembling a hinge includes: moving a surface without gear teeth on a first gear past a toothed surface on a second gear; moving the first and second gears into a cover; meshing a tooth on the first gear with a tooth on the second gear; and holding the first and second gears together with the cover.

A foldback door system for at least partially closing an opening having at least one plane, the system including at least two mutually pivoted panels movable between a closed condition relative to a frame having at least one jamb relative to which the at least two mutually pivoted panels are hung, the at least two panels including a lateral panel located closer to the jamb and an inner panel hinged relative to the lateral panel and the frame, the lateral panel being of a first dimension and the inner panel being of a second dimension different to the first dimension, the closed condition in which the at least two panels are in substantial alignment to at least partially close the opening and a fully open, foldback condition in which the at least two panels are substantially parallel with one another and lie at an angle of greater than 90° with respect to the at least one plane of the opening in which the at least two panels lie in the closed condition.

An improved vertical lift door roller assembly has a wheel pivotally mounted to a shaft. The shaft is placed within a spring loaded locking cylinder. The locking cylinder is movable between a first position where it restricts pivoting of the wheel and a second position where the wheel is able to pivot. When the door roller assembly is used on a vertical lift door, the wheel can be pivoted to decouple the roller from a vertical lift door J channel wheel track.

An apparatus for an architectural opening may include a plurality of panels. At least one of the plurality of panels may include a frame including a plurality of first frame members and a plurality of second frame members sealed together at respective interfaces to define at least one opening. The interfaces may be defined by ends of the first frame members positioned at least partially within respective apertures defined in the second frame members. Each frame member may include an internal cavity, with the apertures fluidically connecting the internal cavities of the frame members. An inset panel may be secured within the at least one opening. In general, some implementations can be configured to fit other profiles of components forming a garage door rail disposed at a meeting point of two adjacent garage door panels.
