GLAZING UNIT WITH TWO-PART WINDOW BRACKET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAID GLAZING UNIT
A glazing unit for a vehicle which can be moved heightwise includes a window including at least one hole and at least one window bracket. The window bracket includes a flange including a plate positioned facing one face of the window, and a hollow tubular sleeve of which a wall extends into the hole in the window along a thickness, and a counter-flange including a counter-plate positioned facing another face of the window and a tubular counter-sleeve of which a wall extends along a thickness into the sleeve of the flange.
METHOD OF INSTALLING A WINDOW AND COMPOSITE WINDOW BRACKET
A method of installing a window and composite window bracket comprises a first member and a second member, and an at least one accessory member to couple the composite window bracket to at least one accessory bracket. The first member includes a first surface extending from a first end of the first member to a second end of the first member, and a second surface extending from the first end first member to the second end first member, the first surface of the first member to be coupled to a support beam. The second member supports a window disposed on the first surface of the second member.
Smoke barrier system
A splinter binding and weight bearing foil with an adhesive and a glass pane in a smoke barrier system. The smoke barrier system includes a fixation element. The adhesive is arranged between the splinter binding foil and the glass pane, wherein the splinter binding foil is equipped to hold glass fragments of a glass pane together in case of a glass breakage. The splinter binding foil is arranged between the fixation element and the glass pane, in particular the splinter binding foil is clamped between the fixation element and the glass pane. The splinter binding foil is designed to detach from the glass pane in the case of fire and/or temperature influence.
Glass fastening and sealing systems
A glass sealing system includes a glass portion and a first adhesive layer disposed along an exterior surface of the glass portion. The glass sealing system also includes a cover with a first surface secured to the first adhesive layer and a second surface opposing the first surface. The glass sealing system includes a second adhesive layer disposed on the second surface and configured to secure the cover to a support structure. The cover obscures the second adhesive layer from view of a user looking through the glass portion toward the support structure.
LOCKING ARRANGEMENT FOR FASTENING AN EDGE STRIP TO A PANEL
A locking arrangement, including a panel with a locking groove; an edge strip with a first form; as well as a locking element placed at least partly or entirely between the edge strip and the panel. The locking element includes a protrusion inserted in the locking groove of the panel and configured to prevent the panel from detaching from the edge strip, and a second form matching with and received by the first form of the edge strip, and configured to prevent the locking element from detaching from the edge strip. In the presented method for assembling the locking arrangement, in its first step, the locking element is placed against the panel so that the protrusion is inserted in the locking groove of the panel, after which they are installed in the edge strip.
Impact resistant full view door
An overhead door includes a plurality of articulating panels. At least one of the plurality of articulating panels includes a frame defining an opening, the frame having a ledge and a lip extending from the ledge into the opening and a transparent panel having a first side and an opposing second side. The transparent panel is positioned adjacent to both the lip and the ledge with the first side of the transparent panel positionable adjacent the lip. The plurality of articulating panels further includes a retainer member positionable adjacent the second side of the transparent panel and operable to be fastened to the frame.
Window system
An apparatus for selectively viewing a projection includes a first pane having a top margin and a bottom margin, an angled panel having a top edge and a bottom edge, wherein one of the top edge and the bottom edge is situated proximate the first pane; and a projector configured to project onto one of the first pane and the angled panel. The first pane and the angled panel are spatially connected by a rim at the top and bottom margins of the first pane and the top and bottom edges of the angled panel.
SMOKE BARRIER SYSTEM
A smoke barrier system includes a bracket, a glass panel and a fastener. The glass panel defines a hole. The fastener is equipped to fasten the bracket to the hole of the glass panel. The bracket is fixed to a supporting construction on which the smoke barrier system is installed. The smoke barrier system also includes a first washer, wherein the washer is arranged between the fastener and the glass panel. The washer is an intumescent washer that expands under thermal influence of a fire, hot smoke and/or hot gas. Under thermal influence, the washer can form a thermally insulating layer. Furthermore, under thermal influence the intumescent washer can build up additional pressure between the fastener and the glass panel.
Curtain Wall System and Method
In certain embodiments, a system includes a curtain wall member and a first curtain wall member mounting apparatus coupled to a first end of the curtain wall member. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus includes a mounting plate and an arm having one or more projections. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus engages with a first curtain wall member supporting channel having a vertically-disposed member and a horizontally-disposed supporting member having a receiving-and-retaining member extending from an end opposite the vertically-disposed member. The receiving-and-retaining member engages with a channel adjacent to one or more projections of the first curtain wall member mounting apparatus. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus is adapted to be rotated into position such that a connection mechanism at a second end of the curtain wall member engages with a second curtain wall member supporting channel to retain the curtain wall member in position.
Glass fastening and sealing systems
A glass fastening system includes a fastener having a first portion embedded along an interlayer within a laminated glass portion and a second portion extending outward from an exterior surface of the laminated glass portion for use in attachment to a support structure. Another glass fastening system includes a fastener having a first portion adhered to an exterior surface of a glass pane and a second portion extending from the first portion away from the exterior surface for use in attachment to a support structure. A glass sealing system includes a pair of glass panes having offset edge portions and a seal including an overmold portion capturing the edge portions. Another glass sealing system includes a seal having an internal portion embedded within a laminated glass portion and an external portion extending along an exterior surface of the laminated glass portion.
