Curtain wall system and method
In certain embodiments, a system includes a curtain wall member and a first curtain wall member mounting apparatus coupled to a first end of the curtain wall member. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus includes a mounting plate and an arm having one or more projections. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus engages with a first curtain wall member supporting channel having a vertically-disposed member and a horizontally-disposed supporting member having a receiving-and-retaining member extending from an end opposite the vertically-disposed member. The receiving-and-retaining member engages with a channel adjacent to one or more projections of the first curtain wall member mounting apparatus. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus is adapted to be rotated into position such that a connection mechanism at a second end of the curtain wall member engages with a second curtain wall member supporting channel to retain the curtain wall member in position.
SMOKE BARRIER SYSTEM
A splinter binding and weight bearing foil with an adhesive and a glass pane in a smoke barrier system. The smoke barrier system includes a fixation element. The adhesive is arranged between the splinter binding foil and the glass pane, wherein the splinter binding foil is equipped to hold glass fragments of a glass pane together in case of a glass breakage. The splinter binding foil is arranged between the fixation element and the glass pane, in particular the splinter binding foil is clamped between the fixation element and the glass pane. The splinter binding foil is designed to detach from the glass pane in the case of fire and/or temperature influence.
Pre-formed glazing unit
A pre-formed glazing unit for installation in an opening defined in a structure such as a shed, greenhouse or other temporary building comprises a face panel having a periphery enclosing the face panel and a mounting flange for attachment to an inward side of the structure around a peripheral edge of the opening in use, the mounting flange being connected to the periphery of the face panel by a connecting wall. The connecting wall is integrally formed with the face panel and the mounting flange and extends away from the mounting flange to space the face panel from the mounting flange in an outward direction. The face panel and/or a top panel of the connecting wall may be inclined and/or a bottom panel of the connecting wall may include a drip-inducing formation to direct water away from the structure in use. A double-glazed variant is also disclosed.
Glazing unit with two-part window bracket and method for producing said glazing unit
A glazing unit for a vehicle which can be moved heightwise includes a window including at least one hole and at least one window bracket. The window bracket includes a flange including a plate positioned facing one face of the window, and a hollow tubular sleeve of which a wall extends into the hole in the window along a thickness, and a counter-flange including a counter-plate positioned facing another face of the window and a tubular counter-sleeve of which a wall extends along a thickness into the sleeve of the flange.
Window System
An apparatus for selectively viewing a projection includes a first pane having a top margin and a bottom margin, an angled panel having a top edge and a bottom edge, wherein one of the top edge and the bottom edge is situated proximate the first pane; and a projector configured to project onto one of the first pane and the angled panel. The first pane and the angled panel are spatially connected by a rim at the top and bottom margins of the first pane and the top and bottom edges of the angled panel.
GLASS ELEMENT
The invention relates to a glass element (1) having at least a first panel (2), which is formed from glass, at least a second panel (3) and at least one intermediate layer (8), wherein the intermediate layer (8) is arranged between the first panel (2) and the second panel (3). The first panel (2) has a first side (4) and a second side (5), wherein the first side (4) is arranged on the intermediate layer (8). An adapter unit (15) is adhesively bonded to the first side (4) of the first panel (2) and has a spacer plate (9). The intermediate layer (8) extends from the first panel (2) to the second panel (3) with a first longitudinal extent (L1). The spacer plate (9) extends from the first panel (2) to the second panel (3) with a second longitudinal extent (L2). The first longitudinal extent (L1) is identical to the second longitudinal extent (L2).
Offset attachment device
An attachment device includes a flange, an upper shaft, and a lower shaft. The flange defines an upper surface and lower surface. The upper shaft projects from the upper surface and is centered about an upper longitudinal axis. The lower shaft projects from the lower surface and is centered about a lower longitudinal axis. The upper longitudinal axis is not collinear with the lower longitudinal axis. So configured, the attachment device allows two objects to be attached to each other with a lateral offset equal to the lateral offset between the upper shaft and the lower shaft.
Anchor for laminated glass and method for setting of the anchor in laminated glass
An anchor for laminated glass includes an expansion dowel that has expansion appendices situated circumferentially, and is preferably made of a flexible material and having a conical cross-section with thickness increasing in the direction of insertion. Above the line of the expansion appendices is a circumferential groove, situated at the height of the edge of transition of the cylindrical hole into the conical hole, forming an empty space.
METHOD OF INSTALLING A WINDOW AND COMPOSITE WINDOW BRACKET
A method of installing a window and composite window bracket comprises a first member and a second member, and an at least one accessory member to couple the composite window bracket to at least one accessory bracket. The first member includes a first surface extending from a first end of the first member to a second end of the first member, and a second surface extending from the first end first member to the second end first member, the first surface of the first member to be coupled to a support beam. The second member supports a window disposed on the first surface of the second member.
INSULATING GLASS ELEMENT AND SAUNA CABIN COMPRISING THE INSULATING GLASS ELEMENT
The insulating glass element is constructed for for doors, windows and fixed glass fronts. The insulating glass element includes a first glass pane and a second glass pane that is spaced from the first glass pane by a circumferential spacer element in an edge region. The glass panes each have a continuous recess; a first circumferential sealing element in the edge region of the glass panes, which seals the volume enclosed between the glass panes and the spacer element in the area of the spacer element in a gas-tight manner against the surroundings; and an insert introduced between the glass panes. The insert has a recess and is provided with a centering element that interacts with a recess of a glass pane for positioning the insert relative to the glass panes.
