LOCATING AND RETENTION PIN
A method of assembly includes providing a panel. The method also includes providing a locating member with a first portion and a second portion, and securing the first portion to the panel. The second portion is releasably engaged with the first portion. The method additionally includes providing a component with an orifice for receiving a locating member, and disposing the second portion in the orifice to locate the panel in a desired position relative to the component. The method further includes securing the panel to the component, and disengaging the second portion from the first portion.
Door assembly with dual support connector assembly
A door assembly with the dual support connector has a door panel, a glass pane, a dual support connector assembly, a fixed sealing frame 18 for engaging the dual support connector assembly, a seal-less removable frame for attaching to the attachment (dual support connector assembly) on an opposite side of the fixed sealing frame 18, and a fastener engaging the dual support connector assembly to the fixed sealing frame. The dual support connector assembly has a clip body, a door flange extending from the clip body, a glass flange extending from the clip body in parallel with the door flange.
GLASS CURTAIN WALL FASTENER
A glass curtain wall fastener, a first clamping plate is provided opposite to a second clamping plate to hold a glass panel therebetween. A first connecting part is provided on a side of the first clamping plate adjacent to the second clamping plate, the second connecting part is provided on a side of the first clamping plate adjacent to the first clamping plate, and the first connecting part is connected to the second connecting part via a connecting element. A gap is defined between two adjacent glass panels, the first connecting part, the second connecting part, and the connecting element are received in the gap. In a direction from the first clamping plate to the second clamping plate, a sum of an extend length of the first connecting part and an extend length of the second connecting part is less than a thickness of the glass panel.
Dual support connector assembly
A dual support connector assembly has a clip body with a pair of through hole, a door flange extending from the clip body; a glass flange extending from the clip body in parallel with the door flange, a fixed sealing frame, a seal-less removable frame for attaching to the dual support connector assembly on an opposite side of the fixed sealing frame, and a fastener engaging the attachment clip to the fixed sealing frame.
PROJECTILE PENETRATION RESISTANCE ASSEMBLIES
Unidirectional transparent projectile penetration resistant panels and bidirectional opaque projectile penetration resistant assemblies and systems and methods of forming and mounting the same relative to underlying support structures.

Unidirectional transparent projectile penetration resistant panels and bidirectional opaque projectile penetration resistant assemblies and systems and methods of forming and mounting the same relative to underlying support structures.
DUTCHY WITH INTEGRATED PRESSURE INDICATOR
A dutchy for fastening to a frame, to secure at least one glass pane or panel against the frame, comprises opposed wings adjoined by at least one resilient web disposed substantially within a plane containing a line of flexure along which the at least one web bends. Each wing comprises at least an intermediate portion spaced from the frame, at least one foot for bearing against the glass pane, and at least one raised portion projecting forwardly beyond the front face of the web. A bearing surface for engagement by a fastener is disposed between the respective feet of the opposed wings. The raised portions of the wings are spaced apart along the line of flexure, such that when a force is applied to the bearing surface the web flexes elastically toward the frame, causing the opposed raised portions to move toward each other in proportion to the amount of the applied force.
FRAME PROVIDING RESTRICTION OF THERMAL DEFLECTION OF A VIG UNIT EDGE
A vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit frame assembly is disclosed comprising: a rectangular vacuum insulated glass unit comprising two glass sheets separated by a sealed gap, wherein a plurality of support structures are distributed in the gap, and a frame arrangement comprising elongated frame profile arrangements which frames the vacuum insulated glass unit in a frame opening, and wherein the frame arrangement comprises a fixation system fixating the vacuum insulated glass unit at the frame arrangement, wherein the frame is arranged so as to allow edges of the vacuum insulated glass unit to thermally deflect in a deflection direction perpendicular to the frame opening plane due to a temperature difference (T=T1T2) between the two glass sheets, and to provide a restriction of the thermal deflection of the edges, so as to reduce the magnitude of the thermal deflection compared to an unrestricted thermal deflection of the edges at the temperature difference (T=T1T2).
Manufactures, methods and structures to reduce energy transfer in building curtain walls
A manufacture and method for reducing thermal transfer through window systems has a composite window cap retainer. The retainer has a metal extrusion at least partially covered by a thermal spacer having reduced relative thermal conductivity. The thermal spacer is mechanically supported by the metal extrusion and mechanically intermediates and thermally insulates between the cap and the metal window structures to which the cap is secured, reducing thermal transfer between the inside and outside environments of a building.
Platform landing door casement comprising a glass pane and associated methods for fitting and removing the glass pane from the platform
A platform landing door casement includes a platform face; a casement frame with first and second lateral uprights separated from one another by cross members to delimit a glazing opening; a glass pane mounted in the glazing opening by being received in the lateral uprights and the cross members; a glazing bead mounted removably on one of the lateral uprights by reversible fixing means; and a glazing bead cover mounted removably on the glazing bead. The glazing bead and the glazing bead cover being mounted on the platform face side and the casement further including, on the platform face side, a protective trim for locking and securing the glazing bead cover on the glazing bead.
