SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PET BEHAVIOR MODIFICIATION
20170245467 · 2017-08-31 ·

A system and method of training or modifying the behavior of pets and, in particular, dogs is disclosed and may include using scratch-resistant protector having adhesive and/or additive to protect the integrity of a door or other object. The adhesive may generally provide a securing or coupling relationship between an object and protector. The additive may provide a material that canines find unpleasant to smell, taste, touch, and/or scratch. In some implementations, the additive may be reapplied (e.g., if it wears off and/or otherwise diminishes in strength, quantity, quality, and/or overall effectiveness).

MOLDED DOOR SKIN WITH INTEGRAL DIVIDED LIGHT BARS AND DOOR MANUFACTURED THEREWITH
20170247934 · 2017-08-31 ·

A molded door skin with integral divided light bars. The divided light bars are either true divided light (TDL) bars simulated divided light (SDL) bars or decorative grilles. The door skin includes a body portion and a divided light bar portion. The body portion and divided light bar portion are of one-piece construction which is preferably compression molded from fiberglass or other synthetic materials. Once assembled into a door with door glass installed, the divided light bars form a number of small windows for either simulating the appearance of traditional divided light windows in SDL applications, holding individual panes of insulating glass units in TDL applications, or for decorative purpose only.

REFRIGERATOR

A refrigerator including: a main body forming a storage compartment and a door provided to open and close the storage compartment, wherein the door includes a door frame, a cover arranged in front of the door frame and including a cover fixer, and a door panel arranged in front of the cover, the door panel including a first fixer and a second fixer on a rear surface of the door panel. When the door panel is coupled to a front side of the cover, the first fixer is coupled to the door frame and the second fixer is coupled to the cover.

DOOR SKINS AND METHOD OF MAKING

The present disclosure is directed to molded door skins and methods of making. Methods include providing an at least partially consolidated flat wood composite blank. Methods further include positioning a stretchable film on an outer surface of the blank, and pressing the blank and the stretchable film together in a heated press to form the molded door skin. The molded door skin has a first surface and a second surface recessed relative to the first surface by a predetermined distance. A third planar portion extends between first and second planar portions at an angle in a range of 100 degrees and 120 degrees. Cracks or voids formed in the outer surface of the blank during the pressing are filled with the stretchable film such that an outer surface of the molded door skin is substantially or entirely crack and void free.

Door skin, a method of etching a plate, and an etched plate formed therefrom

The present invention relates to a door skin comprising an exterior surface having outer portions lying on a first plane, spaced grooves recessed from the plane of the outer portions, and tonal portions having a planar area and a plurality of spaced depressions recessed from the plane of said planar area. The present invention is also directed to a method of etching a plate, for use with a molded die set, for embossing a wood grain pattern in the door skin, and the etched plate formed therefrom.

Hollow core door with internal air flow and sliding panel
09719291 · 2017-08-01 ·

Hollow core door apparatus for preventing the build up of pressure in a room having a register through which air flows into the room and the door includes an inside door skin and an outer door skin, and the door skins includes openings through which air flows and panels disposed in the openings to define the amount of air flowing through the openings in the skins. The door also includes at least a single fixed panel and a movable panel, both of which panels include openings through which air flows when the openings in the panels are aligned and which air flow is restricted when the openings are misaligned. The inside and outside panels have peripheral openings defined between the openings in the skins and the panels disposed in the openings and which peripheral openings define areas at least as great as the area of the openings in the fixed and movable panels, and the openings in the fixed and movable panels are offset from the peripheral openings to provide for a non-linear flow of air through the door to prevent the build up of pressure in the room and to restrict the non-linear air flow through the door when the openings in the fixed and movable panels are misaligned. An embodiment combining a noxious gas absorbent material with the pressure build up prevention capability is also illustrated.
