Securable pet door
11384595 · 2022-07-12 ·

The present disclosure provides for an installable pet door. The device may comprise a door, a knob, a plurality of windows, a frame, and a hinge. The knob may comprise a latch for secure closing. When the pet door comprises a hinge, the hinge may be inserted into a hinge recess so that the door may be securely locked. The orientation of the one or more elements of the pet door system may be predetermined, interchangeable, or customizable. The door may open from, slide into, revolve within, or move in some other non-limiting equivalent way from or relative to the frame. The frame may comprise a sensor. When the frame comprises a sensor, the sensor may interface with an external device, such as a doormat, to operate the door automatically as a result of motion, temperature, or other non-limiting sensible feature or method.

DOOR ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDED ENCLOSURE
20220275680 · 2022-09-01 ·

A door assembly for an electromagnetic shielded enclosure includes a metal door frame for defining a passageway into the enclosure and a door for selectively enclosing the passageway. The door includes a door leaf pivotally coupled to the frame. A set of radio frequency (RF) seals is connected to the exposed peripheral edge of a conductive plate in the door leaf. Each RF seal includes a resilient movable finger which overlies a U-shaped bracket mounted along the outer edge of the door leaf. A plurality of air cylinders is mounted within each bracket and is designed to urge the resilient finger of each RF seal into contact with the door frame. By integrating the RF seal and its related mechanical components into the door, the passageway into the enclosure is rendered less obtrusive. Additionally, the use of multiple air cylinders to actuate each RF seal creates operational redundancy.

Disclosed in the present application are a door leaf, and a door set comprising the door leaf. The door leaf having a first leaf portion and a second leaf portion. The first and second leaf portions pivotally connected to one another about a pivot axis that extends through one of the first leaf portion and the second leaf portion. The door leaf further comprising a lock configured, when in a locked position, to project across an interface between the two portions to thereby lock the first and second leaf portions so as to be substantially coplanar. The pivot axis is substantially parallel to and spaced from the interface.

GATE APPARATUS AND METHOD

A gate assembly for physical and aesthetic integration into any wall or fencing solution, and an associated method of assembling the same. The gate assembly includes a gate pivotably attached to a transom via a hinge. The gate includes side members and spacing tabs that create a channel system within the gate. The channel system is configured to receive a plurality of infill panels of various sizes and designs that aesthetically match the wall or fencing solution into which the gate assembly is being integrated. The gate further includes a cap attached to the top of the gate that traps the infill panels within the gate. When the gate is in a closed position, the cap is blocked by the transom, and no mechanical fasteners are accessible from either side of the gate assembly.

SHOCK INSULATING DOOR SYSTEM AND METHOD

A door system includes a door having a frame forming at least a portion of a perimeter of the door and a sleeve configured to encase at least a portion of the frame. The frame is constructed from a first material and the sleeve is constructed from a different second material. The first material may be electrically conductive and the second material may be electrically insulating. Alternatively or additionally, the first material may be susceptible to wear and tear and the sleeve may be resilient and replaceable.

Solid transparent health gate

We disclose methods of blocking the transmission of COVID-19 and other airborne pathogens between people standing on either side of a door separating an interior space from an exterior space. In a preferred embodiment, the method comprises hingedly mounting a rigid transparent gate directly to the door so that the gate swings independently of the door. Preferably, the gate is dimensioned to substantially fill the width defined by the frame holding the door. The method further comprises releasing the gate from a storage position against the door, coupling the gate to the door frame and opening the door.

CLOSURE WITH VALVE DEVICE

A closing body allows closing and opening an access opening or a passage of a room in case of a pressure difference between an interior and exterior of the room. A closing fitting set and a door leaf are disclosed, by means of which closing fitting set and door leaf a closing body can be formed. The closing body is in the form of a pivotable door, a pivotable window or a pivotable flap. A valve device is provided on the closing body, which valve device effects a temporary pressure equalization during the opening or closing of the closing body. The valve device is in the form of a valve flap, and a release mechanism is provided, which opens the valve device. A locking fitting is provided for the closing body, and the release mechanism is coupled, for actuation, to the locking fitting of the closing body.

DOORS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING TELEGRAPHING THEREFOR

This invention relates to doors having internal blocking components that reduce or eliminate telegraphing of the outer surface of the door facings. In particular, the invention relates to steel-edge steel doors that have internal solid wood blocks that have one or more integral cantilever beams formed into the blocks to interact with the adjoined oppositely arranged door facings in order to eliminate visually apparent door telegraphing. The blocks are modified to contain notches formed therein to form the cantilever beams.

Building systems and methods for installing building systems relative to building openings

Building systems including a frame with a horizontal member from which first and second vertical bars downwardly extend and a panel attached to the frame. The building systems include at least one of an integrated fastener cover that is moveable to a closed position that covers a portion of a fastener, a gusset assembly with a junction cover positioned at a corner junction between two adjacent portions of a panel, and hinge assemblies that reduce the sagging of a panel, such as a door.
