Modular door rail
A modular rail assembly for securing a panel in a door or window, comprising a rail framing member having vertically-oriented sides interconnected by a partition plate to form first and second receiving channels on opposite sides of the partition plate, the second receiving channel defined at a top side by the partition plate and on opposing sides by receiving channel walls, and a rail base extension slideably secured within the rail framing member second receiving channel. The rail base extension includes vertically-oriented sides interconnected by a partition plate, the rail base extension sides having mating surfaces on opposing external surfaces thereof for mating with internal surfaces of the rail framing member second receiving channel walls. A fastener secures the rail base extension to the rail framing member, and a panel is secured along a longitudinal axis thereof in the first receiving channel of the rail framing member.
Double door gate apparatus
A double door gate apparatus having a frame, a main gate and a secondary gate, where the apparatus includes the unique features of a) a latch apparatus between uppermost framework members of the main gate and secondary gate, b) the latch apparatus being weighted to return to a normally closed position, c) each of the main gate and secondary gates having an inverted U-shaped piece engaging the bottommost horizontal member such that each of the main and secondary gates need to be lifted prior to being opened and prior to being closed, and d) a pair of hand wheels on a common shaft that work together to space the double door gate apparatus a desired distance from a vertical surface such as a wall.
DOOR PANEL AND A STILE THEREOF
A door panel comprising a body having front and rear door skins sandwiching, at least partially, two stiles, which together delimit an interior for injection of filling material. At least one of the stiles comprises a hollow structure with a partitioned hollow interior that extends along substantially the entire length of the body to offer mechanical strength to the door and to provide foundation for installing door fittings.
DOOR, ADAPTABLE TO DIFFERENT OPENINGS
A door that can be adapted to different spans is provided, structured in a first element (1) and at least a second element (2) attached in a coplanar manner to the former, including both (sets of openings (31) in one and a number of shafts/rod (32) in the other) for permitting a linear nearing/distancing movement between both elements (1, 2), and means (screws) for holding the elements to one another in any position. On at least one of their edges, the outer surfaces of one of the elements (1, 2) extend into respective superficial tabs (51, 52) between which a longitudinal recess (50) is defined, in which the facing edge (60) of the other element (1, 2) is accommodated, such that said edge (60) is guided and obscured from vision, providing continuity to the surface of the door.
ADJUSTABLE SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM
An adjustable sliding door system for building a sliding door for use in delimiting a part of a room in an opening and extending from the floor to the ceiling of the room is adapted to run in a track positioned opposite it on, respectively, the ceiling and the floor of the room. The adjustable sliding door system has two profiles constituting the sides of said sliding door and surface elements mounted between the profiles and constituting the surface of the sliding door. The adjustable sliding door system has a plurality of surface elements adapted to be mounted overlapping and in continuation of each other in a length corresponding to the height of the opening. This embodiment has the advantage that, based on few standard elements, a very flexible solution is obtained for building a sliding door of any height and where colors/decors may be varied according to personal desires.
Self-closing safety gate
Self-closing safety gate embodiments are disclosed herein. The self-closing safety gates include a hinge plate configured to rotate about a vertical support member and engage a hoop portion. In some embodiments, the hinge plate includes at least one support arm portion with a channel. In such embodiments, the channel can be configured to receive and frictionally engage a hoop arm of the hoop portion with a compressive fastener. In some embodiments, the self-closing safety gate can be damped.
