BARRIERS CORES AND ASSEMBLY THEREOF
Barriers may utilize cores that may be pre-assembled and dropped into a barrier or may be formed within the barriers. The cores may include traditional core materials, biomass materials, graphite polystyrene (GPS) material, or other types of materials. The core may be formed from one or more layers, such as one or more stiffener layers (e.g., stiffener panel, stiffener rods, or the like), one or more matrix layers (e.g., with apertures extending therein), one or more solid layers (e.g., wood, plastic, composite, foam, fiber, or the like), one or more fluid sealed layers (e.g., air, argon, nitrogen, or other like), and/or other types of layers. The barrier edge members, the faces, and/or the core layers described herein may be assembled to each other in traditional ways, such as welding, and/or may be assembled to each other in a way that reduces the amount of welding and/or use of steel.
ADJUSTABLE SHIM AND PRE-HUNG DOOR WITH THE SAME
An adjustable shim for pre-hung doors or windows is described. The adjustable shim includes a base bracket configured for mounting to a frame member of the pre-hung door or window. The adjustable shim also includes a shim plate and an actuator operably attached between the base bracket and the shim plate. Rotation of the actuator raises or lowers the shim plate relative to the base bracket.
Sliding Barn Door Kit
A barn door kit includes a plurality of pieces disassembled that are packaged in a much smaller footprint than an assembled barn door. The pieces that make up the door include a plurality of frame pieces and a plurality of panels. The frame pieces are connected together to create a frame of the door having a channel along an interior perimeter. The panels are configured to be inserted within the frame with the channel providing support. The panels include tongues on one side and corresponding grooves on the other side for securing adjacent panels together. The frame pieces and the panels are made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The kit also includes a track, roller brackets, handle and hardware. The hardware includes brackets mounted to upper edges of a right side frame and a left side frame to enable the roller brackets to be secured thereto.
ADJUSTABLE SHIM AND PRE-HUNG DOOR WITH THE SAME
An adjustable shim is described for attachment to a pre-hung door or a rough opening. The adjustable shim may include a base bracket for mounting the adjustable shim to the pre-hung door or the rough opening, an inner shim, an outer shim, and a first actuator operably attached between the base bracket and the inner shim. At least one of the inner shim and the outer shim is tapered. Rotation of the first actuator translates the inner shim substantially linearly relative to the outer shim, thereby adjusting a combined height of the inner shim and the outer shim.
Telescoping gate brace
A telescoping gate brace is configured to be mounted on a wooden gate. The telescoping gate brace has a first rod, a second rod, a securing component, a first fixing assembly, a connector, and a second fixing assembly. The first rod and the second rod are movably sleeved with each other. The securing component is mounted on the first rod and the second rod, thereby securing a total length of the first rod and the second rod. The first fixing assembly is mounted on the first rod and the wooden gate. The connector is mounted on the second end. The second fixing assembly is mounted on the connector and the wooden gate. A distance between the second end and the second fixing assembly is adjustable via the connector.
TELESCOPING GATE BRACE
A telescoping gate brace is provided and configured to be mounted on a wooden gate.
