Composed element and corner connection applied herewith
A composed element includes at least two panel-shaped elements, such as a locking tongue and groove connection, that are arranged to be coupled to each other at an angle, either directly or indirectly by means of an intermediate piece. The connection includes, at least at one of the panel-shaped elements, a tongue or groove, cooperable with a groove or tongue provided on the other panel-shaped element or on the intermediate piece. The tongue includes a split tongue, with at least a first part and a second part, and a slit located therebetween. A locking part is located at the outer side of at least said first part wherein the slit, seen in cross-section of the tongue, defines at least one side, the course of which, seen in cross-section, deviates from the main direction belonging to the tongue.
VENTILATION SYSTEM INTEGRATED WITHIN WINDOW FRAME
A ventilated window frame comprising; a frame having a plurality of slots along an interior edge and a channel having a first opening and a second opening, a permeable layer fitted within one of the plurality of slots distal to the first edge of the frame, a permeable layer secured within one of the plurality of slots distal to the second edge of the frame, a non-permeable layer secured within one of the plurality of slots between the first and second permeable layers, wherein the first opening of the channel is between the first permeable layer and the non-permeable layer and the second opening of the channel is located between the second permeable layer and the non-permeable layer, a filter inserted within the first opening of the channel, and a fan fitted between the first opening and the second opening of the channel.
Frame assembly for a doorway
A frame assembly for a doorway defined by two substantially vertical sides and a substantially horizontal side comprises a header jamb having a top surface, a bottom surface, and one or two header jamb rebates. The top surface of the head jamb is adapted for fixedly mounting to the substantially horizontal side of the doorway and the header jamb rebates located on the bottom surface across the length of the header jamb define a header soffit. The frame assembly comprises two upright jambs each having an outer surface and a top end. The outer surface of each of the upright jambs is adapted for fixedly mounting to one of the two substantially vertical sides of the doorway. The top end of each of the upright jambs have a slot for receiving a portion of the header soffit such that, when assembled, the header soffit engages in the slots.
