Bullet-proof glass pane with edge reinforcement
The invention relates to a bulletproof glass pane for use in a motor vehicle having a plurality of panes and layers of glass, ceramics or plastics connected two-dimensionally to each other in layers to form a composite, and having an edge reinforcement that extends at the periphery of the bulletproof glass pane, wherein the edge reinforcement comprises at least two or more reinforcing elements that are in loose mutual engagement.
PROTECTIVE GLAZING SYSTEMS, APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR STRUCTURAL OPENINGS
Protective glazing systems, apparatus, and associated methods for the protection of structural openings against impacts from projectiles, intruders, and/or the like. In some embodiments, the system may comprise a protective panel positioned over a structural glazing. A means for creating a standoff between the protective panel and the structural glazing, such as a structural standoff component, may be used to create a gap and/or prevent the protective panel from contacting the at least one structural glazing.
LIGTHWEIGHT FORCED-ENTRY AND BULLET-RESISTANT DOOR AND BULLET-RESISTANT PANEL
A bullet-resistant door utilizing a secured edge layered assembly substantially defining an inner perimeter of the door, and a bullet-resistant panel secured internal to the door using the secured edge layered assembly. The bullet-resistant door has a minimum UL 752Level 8 protection rating and has a significantly lower weight relative to conventional bullet-resistant doors and can be manufactured to fit within any sized commercial door frame.
Compression framing system
A compression framing system configured to engage with opposing mounting surfaces, the compression framing system having a compression frame, the compression frame having: a first compression arm and a second compression arm, each compression arm having: a hollow pipe body; and a friction shoe associated with the hollow pipe body, said friction shoe being configured to engage directly with the mounting surface; an inner support beam configured to secure the first compression arm to the second compression arm; and an expansion controller associated with the hollow pipe body of the first compression arm; wherein the expansion controller is configured to selectively adjust a separation distance between the friction shoe of the first compression arm and the friction shoe of the second compression arm. The compression framing system is configured to provide a mounting structure frictionally engaged with opposing mounting surfaces for non-destructive attachment of a protective structure.
Armored Shield
An armored shield incorporating a first ballistic panel having a view port; a second ballistic panel received within the view port, the second ballistic panel being transparent; a C bracket having a web having front and rear ends, the C bracket having a front arm having proximal and distal ends, and the C bracket having a rear arm having proximal and distal ends, wherein the distal end of the front arm forwardly overlies the second ballistic panel, and wherein the rear arm forwardly overlies the first ballistic panel; an L bracket having a column having front and rear ends, the L bracket having a foot having proximal and distal ends, wherein the distal end of the foot rearwardly overlies the second ballistic panel; and a plurality of screws interconnecting the front end of the L bracket's column and the distal end of the C bracket's rear arm.
