A frame assembly, for use in window and door applications configured to retain a panel, comprising a frame with a cover assembly and a support assembly having a track assembly, and a sill assembly and a header assembly both interconnected to a securing surface. The cover assembly is interconnected to the support assembly. The sill assembly comprises a roller member disposed in supporting relation to the track assembly, and the header assembly is disposed in supporting relation to the support assembly so that the frame is movable relative to both the header assembly and the sill assembly. At least a portion of the frame comprises a predetermined thickness and a predetermined width. The predetermined thickness is substantially less than the predetermined width so that both cooperatively and concurrently enhance viewing through the panel and the frame's stability.

Door monitoring system and method

In example implementations, a door monitoring sensor is provided. The door monitoring sensor includes a communication interface to transmit an alarm when a door operates outside of operational parameters of the door, an angular sensor to measure rotational movement of the a door, a movement sensor to detect movement along an x-y-z coordinate plane, a radar sensor to detect an object, a rechargeable power supply to provide power to the angular sensor, the movement sensor, and the radar sensor, and a processor. The processor is communicatively coupled to the communication interface, the angular sensor, the movement sensor, and the radar sensor. The processor is to determine that the door is moving outside of the operational parameters of the door and generate the alarm that is transmitted by the communication interface in response to determination that the door is moving outside of the operational parameters of the door.

Security door system

Provided herein is a security door system having a door that includes a door frame comprising elongate door frame members, each having a first holding channel formed therein, and a clamping portion spaced from the first holding channel. The door further includes a mesh covering an opening enclosed by the frame. In addition to the above, the security door system includes a wall frame comprising elongate wall frame members operably coupled to the door frame by one or more hinge members, the hinge members facilitating pivotable movement of the door between open and closed positions and one or a plurality of security members configured to prevent or inhibit levering of the door relative to the wall frame.

Security door system

A security door system includes a door frame, a door, and an astragal. The door frame has first and second vertically extending side members that define an opening therebetween. The door is disposed within the opening and is secured to the frame via a hinged connection along the first vertically extending side member. A gap is defined between an edge of the door, that is opposite the hinged connection, and the second vertically extending side member when the door is in a closed position. The astragal has first and second plates that are secured to an outer surface of the door. The first plate extends beyond the edge such that the first plate covers the gap when the door is in the closed position. The second plate extends from the first plate in a direction away from the edge and toward the hinged connection.
