A heat exchange ventilator includes a window frame, a lighting section inside the window frame; and a heat exchange element superimposed on the lighting section. The window frame includes an exhaust flow inlet, an exhaust flow outlet, an air supply flow inlet, an air supply flow outlet, an exhaust blower, and an air supply blower. The heat exchange element includes multiple heat transfer plates defining multiple air passages. Each heat transfer plate separates two air passages among the multiple air passages. Heat exchange plates are optically transparent and exchange sensible heat or total heat. The air passages include air supply passages and exhaust passages. Each air supply passage is between the air supply flow inlet and the air supply flow outlet. Each exhaust passage is between the exhaust flow inlet and the exhaust flow outlet. The air supply passages and the exhaust passages are alternatively arranged one by one.

An electrostatic precipitator integrated with a double-skin facade of a building, includes: an outer window installed at an outdoor side of the building; an outer upper opening and an outer lower opening installed at upper and lower portions, respectively, of the outer window for indoor ventilation; an inner window providing a hollow layer between the inner window and the outer window by being installed at a room side facing the outer window; an inner upper opening and an inner lower opening installed at upper and lower portions, respectively, of the inner window for ventilation; at least one discharge electrode charging particles introduced into the hollow layer through the outer lower opening by being installed in the hollow layer; and dust collecting electrodes precipitating charged particles by being installed in contact with the hollow layer.

ADHESIVE-ATTACHED WINDOW GLAZING ASSEMBLY, MULTI-GLAZED WINDOW ASSEMBLY AND METHOD THEREFOR
20200141180 · 2020-05-07 · ·

A window glazing assembly that can convert an existing or already-installed window, or be used to assemble new construction windows as a multi-pane or multi-glazed window unit, is provided herein. In particular, the glazing assembly includes an attachment assembly (e.g., peel-and-stick double-sided adhesive tape) and one or more glazing layers. Some embodiments further include a spacer assembly comprising a plurality of spacer bars that may be individually installed, e.g., one by one, around the perimeter of the window such as, to the window sash, window frame, or glass window pane, itself. The glazing layer(s) can then be secured or adhered to the spacer assembly, for example, around the perimeter thereof. Some embodiments may include additional or intermediate glazing layers, providing additional insulating airspaces and enhanced performance.

Window system

A window system according to an aspect of the invention includes: a window frame; an inner window installed at an indoor side of the window frame; an outer window fixed to the window frame and spaced apart from the inner window with a predetermined distance at an outdoor side to form a hollow layer between the outer window and the inner window; an air-flowing opening formed between the outer window and the window frame to form a flow path in which air in the hollow layer flows or circulates; and an opening and closing device provided at one side of the inner window to open and close the inner window from the window frame. The outer window may include a tinted glass or a glass having a high absorption rate and a bracket for fixing the tinted glass to the window frame.

Glass panel unit and windowpane

A glass panel unit includes a first pane of glass, and a second pane of glass facing the first pane of glass with the panes of glass spaced a predetermined interval apart. The glass panel includes a seal disposed between the panes of glass and joined to them in an airtight manner, and an interior space encompassed with the panes of glass and the seal. The glass panel unit includes: a partition wall disposed in the interior space and divides the interior space into a first space as a vacuum space and a second space; an air release vent formed in a first or second pane of glass and communicates with the second space; and a blocking member provided in the air release vent.

Double-glazed window or door assembly
