Screen edge retention and screen rethreading features for a hidden screen assembly and a fenestration assembly

A fenestration assembly includes a sash, a frame surrounding the sash, and at least one screen assembly mounted in at least one of: the top portion and the bottom portion. The frame includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and two jambs forming first slots extending lengthwise along at least a portion of the jamb. The first slots each include a screen edge retention feature. The screen assembly includes a roller assembly substantially hidden from view, a screen material attached to the roller assembly, and a plurality of raised features. Edges of the screen material extend into the first slots. The raised features are attached to each of the edges of the screen material. The raised features are configured to engage the screen edge retention features and retain each of the edges of the screen material at least partially within the first slot of each of the two jambs.

A fenestration assembly includes a sash, a frame surrounding the sash, and at least one screen assembly mounted in at least one of: the top portion and the bottom portion. The frame includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and two jambs forming first slots extending lengthwise along at least a portion of the jamb. The first slots each include a screen edge retention feature. The screen assembly includes a roller assembly substantially hidden from view, a screen material attached to the roller assembly, and a plurality of raised features. Edges of the screen material extend into the first slots. The raised features are attached to each of the edges of the screen material. The raised features are configured to engage the screen edge retention features and retain each of the edges of the screen material at least partially within the first slot of each of the two jambs.

HVAC systems having air-tight access doors

The present disclosure relates to an HVAC system door assembly that includes a door that includes a panel having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, and a first seal circuit. The first seal circuit is disposed on the first side. The HVAC system door assembly also includes a door frame that includes a second seal circuit. HVAC system door assembly further includes a ridge projecting from one of the first seal circuit or the second seal circuit configured to align with and engage a central portion of the other of the first seal circuit or the second seal circuit when the door is in a closed position with respect to the door frame. The ridge includes a cross-sectional profile having a flattened peak section with sloping side sections that extend from boundaries of the flattened peak section to a base of the ridge.

The present disclosure relates to an HVAC system door assembly that includes a door that includes a panel having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, and a first seal circuit. The first seal circuit is disposed on the first side. The HVAC system door assembly also includes a door frame that includes a second seal circuit. HVAC system door assembly further includes a ridge projecting from one of the first seal circuit or the second seal circuit configured to align with and engage a central portion of the other of the first seal circuit or the second seal circuit when the door is in a closed position with respect to the door frame. The ridge includes a cross-sectional profile having a flattened peak section with sloping side sections that extend from boundaries of the flattened peak section to a base of the ridge.

According to one aspect, a door sealing system includes a door having an outer periphery and a plurality of extendable and retractable knife edges along at least a portion of the outer periphery. The door sealing system includes a door frame having a plurality of channels corresponding to the plurality of knife edges, each knife edge projecting outward in a direction parallel to a face of the door and into the corresponding channels when the door is in a sealed position. Further, the door sealing system may include channels in the door frame along which knife edges of the door frame move.
