EMERGENCY SCHOOL DOOR BARRICADE RETROFIT SYSTEM APPARATUS AND METHOD
A reinforcement system and method for a door having a window provides for a window shutter that slides into a position covering the window during a shooting incident. An elongated bar has one end pivotally supported by a securing bracket, which is attached to a wall adjacent the door. A release pin is attached to the securing bracket; it normally supports the bar in a vertical stored position. A holster is secured to the wall on the opposite side of the door in alignment with the securing bracket. The shutter, the securing bracket, and the holster are formed from a ballistic resistant material. During a shooting incident, the user moves the shutter to cover the window, removes the release pin and pivots the bar into a horizontal position barring the door. The free end of bar is received in the holster, thereby reinforcing the door independently of the door frame and door hinges.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes: a cabinet forming a storage space; a door for opening and closing the storage space and provided with a receiving space; a see-through portion extending through the door and communicating with the receiving space; a door light for illuminating a rear space of the door; a transparent panel assembly for shielding the see-through portion and becoming transparent or opaque so as to selectively visualize the see-through portion according to On/Off states of the door light; and a heat insulating member, formed along a perimeter of the transparent panel assembly, for insulating a perimeter portion of the transparent panel assembly.

Installation for improving the binocular visual field
An installation for improving the binocular visual field includes a structural element located at a distance from the observer equal to or greater than the observer's interpupillary distance. The structural element is provided with at least one through aperture, in which an optical system is applied that has two convergent lenses, between which a divergent lens is centrally interposed, the distance between each of the convergent lenses and the central divergent lens being such as to make the optical system of a neutral afocal type.
SMART PEEPHOLE
A smart peephole includes a front door body, a rear door body including a power source, and a connecting structure. The front door body includes a monitoring unit configured to monitor a scene. The connecting structure includes an electrical connection line, a connecting sleeve, and a regulator. The electrical connection line is configured to electrically couple the monitoring unit to the power source to provide power to the monitoring unit. The connecting sleeve passes through a door panel to couple the front door body to the rear door body. The regulator is disposed on the rear door body and is configured to adjust a length of the electrical connection line between the front door body and the rear door body according to a thickness of the door panel.
