Door safety bumper
A door safety device generally includes a mounting member for coupling the device to a door and a blocking member for preventing complete closure of the door when the mounting member is attached to the door and the device is in a blocking configuration. The device can also include an intermediate member coupled between the mounting member and the blocking member. The intermediate member defines a first hinge axis extending in a direction parallel to the surface of the door and parallel to an edge of the door. The blocking member is movable (e.g., rotatable or revolvable) about the first hinge axis, at least when the mounting member is coupled to the door and the device is in a blocking configuration, so as to inhibit the transfer of detachment forces from the blocking member to the mounting member upon impact.
HINGE-SIDED FINGER PROTECTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a hinge-sided finger protection device for a wing door, comprising at least a protective profile (1) and at least a fastening means (3) for fastening the protective profile (1) to a door frame (R) of the wing door. The protective profile (1) can be plugged onto the fastening means (3), wherein the protective profile (1) accommodates in itself the fastening means (3) in the plugged-on state. The protective profile (1) is non-destructively removable from the fastening means (3) and can be again plugged thereon. The at least one fastening means is preferably a clip (3).

FINGER PROTECTION DEVICE FOR A LEAF DOOR
A finger protection device (5) with a roller blind for a leaf door has a housing (2), a first fastening means (4) and a web (1), wherein the roller blind can be fastened to a door frame (R) and to a dour leaf (F) of the leaf door by means of the housing (2) and the first fastening means (4), with the result that, when the device is used as intended, the web (1) covers a gap between the door leaf (F) and the door frame (R). The web (1) has at its free edge an end strip (11) which is held in a second fastening means (3). The second fastening means (3) can be connected to the first fastening means (4) in order to tension the web (1) between the housing (2) and first fastening means (4) The second fastening means (3) is a suspension unit which can be suspended in the first fastening means (4) in order to tension the web (1). The finger protection device according to the invention is of robust design, consists of the simplest means and nevertheless allows optimum protection against manipulation and a maximum degree of readjustability.
Self-assembly safety door
The present invention provides a self-assembly safety door comprising: a doorpost coupled and fixed to both sides of a temporary doorframe formed on a distal end of a wall body; a door provided on the doorpost to horizontally rotate so as to be selectively opened/closed; a corner part provided on one end part of the door to be coupled to the door and hinge-coupled to the doorpost to rotate with the door at the same time; and a coupling part interposed between the door and the corner part to couple the door and the corner part.

GUARD FOR A DOOR AND DOORFRAME
A system, including: a doorframe, having: first and second side jambs, and a head jamb; a door; a door hinge that connects the first side jamb to the door; a guard, including: a plurality of body portions, including a first body portion, a second body portion, a third body portion, a fourth body portion, a fifth body portion, and a sixth body portion, where the first body portion connects to the second body portion, where the second body portion connects to the third body portion, where the third body portion connects to the fourth body portion, where the fourth body portion connects to the fifth body portion, and where the fifth body portion connects to the sixth body portion; and a plurality of magnetic strips, including a first magnetic strip and a second magnetic strip, where the first magnetic strip and the second magnetic strip are magnets, where the first magnetic strip is adhered to the first body portion and extends between top and bottom ends of the first body portion, where the second magnetic strip is adhered to the sixth body portion and extends between top and bottom ends of the sixth body portion, where the first magnetic strip is magnetically coupled to the door, and where the second magnetic strip is magnetically coupled to the first side jamb.
Hinge-Side Finger Protection Device
A hinge-side finger protection device for a leaf door includes a protective profile attachable to the leaf door by clamping between two door hinges or between a door hinge and a stop device. An adapter part is further present having an end face of which the position relative to the protective profile is changeable in the longitudinal direction in order to enable the protective profile to be inserted and clamped between the door hinges or between the one door hinge and the stop device. The adapter part is insertable into the protective profile. The end face of the adapter part is arranged on a side of the adapter part opposite the protective profile when the adapter part is inserted in the protective profile. The hinge-side finger protection device enables quick and easy installation on a door and can be used with a different door hinges.
Hand and finger protector for use with doors
This invention relates to an apparatus and to a method designed to prevent hand and finger injuries resulting from inadvertent door closures. The apparatus for use with an existing door and door surround includes a door latching mechanism mountable to the door having a reversibly extendable bolt actuated by a turning member, a striker member mountable to the door surround wherein a portion of the striker member projects beyond the door surround, and when the bolt is extended, complete door closure is impeded by the projecting portion of the striker member with a gap width created between the leading edge of the door and the door surround sufficient to protect human hands and fingers from being crushed, injured, or amputated. When the bolt is intentionally retracted complete door closure is permitted. The apparatus is designed to be interchangeable with standard sized door knobs, latching mechanisms, lock assemblies, and striker plates.
