The present invention relates to a window capable of mosquito-proof and air purification, including a mounting slot and a side plate embedded in the wall; and two horizontally movable mounting fixtures are disposed in the middle of each of the upper and lower mounting slots. A purification plate is installed between two mounting fixtures, and glass plate movable devices are installed between each mounting fixture and the slot wall of the mounting slot. A glass plate is installed between the upper and lower glass plate movable devices; the purification plate includes a purification mounting frame installed in between the two mounting fixtures. An aerographite plate is installed in the purification installation frame. The thickness of the aerographite plate is greater than spacing between outer sides of the two mounting fixtures, wherein in the side plates, side slots cooperating with the purification mounting frame are provided. The present invention replaces the existing gauze window structure with a purification plate comprising aerographite plates and purification mounting frames. Good absorption and recovery ability of the aerographite plate combining with the pressing of the glass plate realizes continuous and repeated air purification, and mosquito-proof effect of the gauze window.

A covering for an architectural feature includes a light transmitting or sheer material that has an openness factor of about 60% or greater. The light transmitting material can include a pattern of geometric shapes, such as polygons. In one embodiment, the geometric shapes are hexagons that extend in alternating columns along the length of the light transmitting material. The hexagons can be formed in a knitted fabric, such as a warp knitted fabric. The fabric can be formed from monofilament yarns.

A desiccant window screen to lower humidity in a space is disclosed. The desiccant window screen will lower humidity in the air as it passes through the window threshold. The screen will continue to protect from bugs or anything else entering your home, while making the space feel cooler by removing the excess humidity.

WINDOW PANEL SYSTEM

A temporary panel and panel system. The panel system comprises a fabric held in a two-part, snap-together window panel system. The panel system is attachable to a window trim system to secure it temporarily until fasteners can be driven into the panel system and the channel of the window frame. The window trim includes a fastener boss that helps to hold the fasters that hold the panel to the window frame. The fabric of the panel system is made of a geotextile. The marginal edge of the geotextile may be coated with urethane adhesive before being inserted between the two parts of the panel system. Placement of fasteners along the perimeter of the panel system is guided by a centering groove in the connector system that positions the fastener over a fastener boss in the window frame. The panel system, help temporarily in place to the window frame, may then be securely attached by fasteners driven into the panel frame.

An apparatus and method for moving a window sash relative to a window frame. A window comprises a frame and a sash pivotally connected to the frame. A plurality of members are positioned between the sash and the frame, and the plurality of members are arranged in a series. A plurality of magnet sets comprise at least a first magnet operably connected to one member in the series of members and at least a second magnet operably connected to another member in the series of members. The first magnet is adjacent the second magnet, and at least one of the first or second magnets is an electromagnet. Energizing the electromagnets causes the members in the series of members to move relative to each other and causes the sash to move relative to the frame.
