The present invention relates to a security frame adapted to be fitted to door and window openings and adjustably accommodate decorative panels of differing thicknesses. The frame includes: at least two frame members connectable together to form the frame for accommodating at least one decorative panel; at least one panel clamping bed extending along an inner sidewall of each frame member and having a clamping portion and a channel; and at least one clamping clip including a retention portion and at least one clamping arm extending from the retention portion and configured to clamp a peripheral edge of the at least one decorative panel against the clamping portion when the retention portion is at least partially received in the channel, wherein said channel and said retention portion each include at least one key arrangement configured to intermesh with each other at a plurality of positions when the retention portion is at least partially received in the channel thereby enabling decorative panels of differing thicknesses to be accommodated and clamped to the frame.

Window Panel Installation System For Protection Against Strong Winds

A temporary panel and panel system. The panel system comprises a fabric held in a two-part, snap-together connector system. The connector system is attachable to a window connector system to secure it temporarily until fasteners can be driven into the panel system and the channel of the window frame. The window connector includes a fastener boss that helps to hold the fasteners that hold the panel to the window frame. The fabric of the panel system is made of a geotextile. The marginal edge of the geotextile may be coated with urethane adhesive before being inserted between the two parts of the connector system. Placement of fasteners along the perimeter of the connector system is guided by a centering groove in the connector system that positions the fastener over a fastener boss in the window frame. The panel system, help temporarily in place to the window frame, may then be securely attached by fasteners driven into the connector system.

A screen panel is provided. The screen panel can have a screen frame and a screen mesh positioned over the frame. The screen mesh can be attached to the frame with hooks that can be selectively insertable and removable from the frame. The screen mesh can be attached to a portion of the frame and rolled around itself for shipping, and unrolled and attached to the remainder of the frame for use.

Apparatus and Method of Welding Fabric Material to a Frame Including for Removable Use in a Door or Window Opening
20190178031 · 2019-06-13 ·

The present application provides an apparatus and a method of welding a fabric material to a frame including for removable use in a door opening or a window opening. The method includes receiving the frame having an outer edge defining an interior space at a work surface. The fabric material is then extended across the frame, so that the fabric material to be welded to the frame rests on top and covers the interior space of the frame received at the work surface. An activated welding head is then moved across the work surface and the received frame, wherein the activated welding head is moved so as to trace proximate the frame along the outer edge of the frame, thereby adhering the fabric material to the frame at the outer edge.

The window ventilation system is sized for a variety of automobile windows, and provides fresh air to the vehicle. The ventilation unit's top and sides are made to slide into the door's window slot, and the bottom of the unit has a U shaped slot for the window to slide into. There are handles to assist with screen placement, that also double as safety bars to prevent screen from being sucked out of window. The window ventilation unit is sized such as to allow for the maximum amount of air flow possible by extending over more than one-half of the total glass window area, i.e., such that it is larger than the area of the glass window used to hold the unit in place.
