Screen system

A screen system for use with a sliding panel of a window or door to screen an opening as the sliding panel or door is opened. The screen is attached to the edge of the sliding panel adjacent the opening, and is wound onto a spindle. The spindle is rotatably mounted adjacent the screen opening so that the screen can be unwound from or wound onto the spindle. A cord is connected between the sliding panel and the spindle pulley via an idler pulley. The spindle is caused to rotate to wind the screen onto the spindle as the sliding panel is slid towards the closed position. While the screen is wound off the spindle, the cord is wound onto the spindle pulley and vice versa. A tension adjustment arrangement is provided for adjusting the tension in the cable as the screen is wound and unwound from the spindle.

The system further includes a trim mold defining a channel configured to closely receive and retain the mounting rib, wherein the screen is received in the channel and is retained by cooperation between the trim mold and the mounting rib, and wherein a portion of the trim mold is configured to extend over the fasteners such that the fasteners are hidden upon installation of the trim mold on the screen frame.

The ends of each rod include a male bracket that removably secures the device to the interior perimeter of a window frame of the vehicle. The device further includes a mesh panel disposed between the pair of rods so as to provide a barrier and ventilation for a dog. The mesh panel includes an opening so that a dog can insert its head therethrough. In this way, a dog's head can be placed through a vehicle window without having the ability to exit therethrough.

First, the cassette is attached to cassette box and a plurality of holes are drilled in cassette box for attachment to wall by using a plurality of fasteners. Support angles are attached to cassette box, the support angles have preinstalled roller tube end brackets. One end of the roller tube end bracket is attached to idle gudgeon. Other end of the roller tube end bracket is attached to motor. An idle gudgeon is installed to one end of roller tube. Roller tube is attached to roller tube end bracket. Roller tube is pushed towards idle gudgeon to collapse idle bearing. Other end of the roller tube is allowed to spring forward into the roller tube end bracket having motor. Motor retaining clips are installed to retain the motor. Side rails are installed at ends of the cassette box.

It further includes a pleated screen positioned between the first and second housing members when the screen assembly is in the closed position, wherein the pleated screen includes a first end coupled to the first housing member and a second end coupled to the second housing member. The screen assembly also includes a catch element configured to releasably engage with the window sash.
