Embodiments described herein relate to techniques for spline and screen replacement. An example tool can include a handle. The tool can further include a body connected to the handle, the body including a curved first edge having a first tip at a first end, the first tip defined by the curved first edge and a second edge of the body, a third edge extending from the second edge to the handle, a second tip at a second end of the body, the second tip defined by the first edge and a fourth edge, and a fifth edge extending from the fourth edge to the handle.

WINDOW/DOOR SCREEN AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME

A screen assembly includes a frame, mesh, and leaf springs. The frame has spaced apart first and second holes; a third hole mid-way therebetween; and a fourth hole coaxial with the third hole. The leaf spring's curved central portion terminates in curved first and second ends, with first and second hooks proximate to those ends, which hooks are releasably received within the first and second holes, to couple the leaf spring to the frame. A plunger pin cantilevers away from the curved central portion, and is slidably received through the third and fourth holes. A handle member is secured to the plunger pin, and movable between first and second positions to alter the leaf spring's shape, to provide for retention of the curved leaf spring in a socket of a master frame of a window/door, and alternatively permit removal or installation of the screen assembly.

PROTECTIVE FRAME FOR LARGE FRAMES

The present invention relates to a protection frame for large frames, this protection frame aims to minimize pollution inside buildings through the placement of protective panels of specific types. The present invention comprises a perimeter frame (1) that surrounds a protective panel and has two parts: a magnetic part, which has embedded inside a plurality of magnetic means (2) and adheres by magnetism to the fixed frame of the window or door; and a non-magnetic part that incorporates the protective panel and is superimposed on the perimeter of vent, but does not contact it, avoiding damage. The perimeter frame (1) has fixing squares (3) located on the non-magnetic part, and alignment squares (5) located on the magnetic part, in this way the structure is reinforced and can thus increase the size of the job site rough opening/windows/doors.

A screen assembly includes a plurality of screens with an upper plate in each screen. The screen assembly also has an assembling plate coupling together the plurality of screens. The plurality of screens overlap each other. A coupling assembly includes a generally C-shaped clamp attachable to a suspension bracket and an upper door frame.

One-Piece Screen Support Frame

A screen support frame element includes a base having a base body and a first leg and a second leg. The first leg includes a first barb and the second leg includes a second barb. A cover includes a lip and an arm. The arm includes a first flange that extends towards the lip. An integrated spline has a spline body extending between a first spline end and a second spline end having a spline protrusion. The cover is movable such that the first flange engages the first barb, and the lip extends over and is decoupled from the second leg, the integrated spline is movable such that the spline protrusion engages the second barb The base, and integrated spline are integrated as a single piece.

Window screen assembly with dual side expanders to reduce measurements and accuracy needed for selection/installation

A screen assembly is configured to permit installation in various different sized windows having various different window socket dimensions. The screen assembly includes: a frame, a mesh secured to the frame, at least one expander member, and a biasing member, which may be a spring. The expander member is mounted to a first side of the frame, and configured to slide with respect to the frame between a fully retracted position, a fully extended position, and a plurality of intermediate positions. The biasing member biases the expander member toward the fully extended position. The range of sliding distances for the expander member relative to the fixed frame portion thereby provides a variable lateral extent for the screen assembly permitting its installation into various different sized windows having various different window socket dimensions.

One-piece screening system

A screen attachment assembly is provided and includes a cover extending between a first cover end and a second cover end, a base extending between a first base end and a second base end, and a spline. The cover includes a lip extending from a cover body at the second cover end and an arm extending from the cover body. The base includes a first leg and a second leg extending from a base body in the same direction. The spline is disposed between the first and second legs. The first cover end of the cover is pivotally connected to the first base end such that the cover and base are integrated as a single piece. The cover is movable between an open position and a closed position such that the lip is positioned adjacent to the second leg and the arm abuts the first leg in the closed position.
