FENCE OPENING AND FENCE SYSTEM
20180044983 · 2018-02-15 ·

Yard fences and land enclosures typically have a gate or other door structure that requires some sort of hinge, latch and looks different in overall appearance from the rest of the structure (just as the front door of a house appears different from the outer wall). Presented here is a simple mechanism by which any part of commonly used fences can be implemented as a fence opening. When closed, it appears as a continuous fence. However, when implementing the teaching herein, the space between any two fence posts can become a fence opening.

ANIMAL ENCLOSURE

The present disclosure provides a door frame assembly that includes a frame that defines an opening therein for allowing access therethrough. The door frame also includes a door pivotally coupled to a first vertical wire of the of the frame for pivoting the door between an open position and a closed position. The door frame further includes a first coupling mechanism and a second coupling mechanism. The first coupling mechanism releasably couples the door to the frame and is formed by a first horizontal wire. The first horizontal wire forms a hooked end protruding outward toward the door and spaced inwardly of the frame to intersect with the opening. The second coupling mechanism releasably couples the door to the frame. The second coupling mechanism includes a portion configured to limit movement of the door relative to the frame until the second portion is pivoted in a direction toward the door.

A wire grid security enclosure with heavy duty latch mechanism is utilized to secure contents while allowing viewing of the contents within. The enclosure includes a base mount onto which a lateral wall is positioned. The enclosure includes an upper panel that closes the top portion of the lateral wall as well as a first door and a second door that are opened to gain access to the enclosure. The first door and the second door are prevented from opening by a first hooked rod and a second hooked rod. The first hooked rod and the second hooked rod are removably engaged to the upper panel as well as to the first door and the second door. The first hooked rod and the second hooked rod connect via a first locking tab and a second locking tab that are positioned on the first hooked rod and the second hooked rod.

Stanchion or post with a spring-loaded assembly

A socket mounted post system including a post with a hollow base portion attached to a spring mechanism. The spring mechanism includes a pillar, the pillar having a finger extending from the hollow base portion. The finger is engageable with a socket that is mountable in a floor. The spring mechanism allows the post to flex angularly relative to a vertical orientation of the post.

The present disclosure provides a door assembly for an animal enclosure. The assembly includes a door frame having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that define an opening for an animal to pass therethrough. The assembly also includes a door configured to move between an open position and a close position relative to the door frame. A latch is pivotably coupled to the door and includes a mechanism that is removably coupled to the door frame. The assembly further includes a first vertical wire and a second vertical wire of the door. A first guide wire and a second guide wire are coupled to the door frame. The first vertical wire is coupled to and moves along the first guide wire between the open and close positions, and the second vertical wire is coupled to and moves along the second guide wire between the open and close positions.

A door assembly for an animal enclosure includes a door frame and a door each having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires. The door frame defines an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and the door is slidably coupled to the door frame such that it moves between an open position and a closed position relative to the door frame to allow egress and ingress through the opening. A catch member is coupled to the door frame. A latch includes a base member, a bolt, and a lever portion. A first vertical wire and a second vertical wire of the door are spaced from one another such that the first vertical wire is at a first end of the door and the second vertical wire is at a second end of the door. In the closed position, the bolt is coupled to the first vertical wire.

A fence includes a plurality of posts, and fence panels having rails which extend across the plurality of posts, and are secured thereto. Jambs may be formed onto the fence system, and one or more gates may be hung to the jambs.

Locks for Storage Containers and the Like

Locks for storage containers having closures such as doors, covers or lids are disclosed. The lock is mounted to she closure and is latched in such a manner as to selectively prevent opening or removal of the closure. The latch of the lock can engage a slot in the storage container, a bracket on the storage container, or a strike on the storage container. Alternatively, the latch can engage a mounting bracket on the door or other portion of the door to selectively block movement of a handle for the door. Further, the latch can have a locking device which can selectively block movement of the latch. Movement of the locking device can be selectively controlled by a magnetic key.

Tri-truss self-closing gate

Systems and methods of fencing systems are provided that incorporate tri-truss assemblies and/or self-closing gates. A tri-truss assembly may provide stability and support to a gate that is part of a portable or temporary fencing system. A tri-truss assembly may be configured to support a self-closing gate that is part of a pool fence. A tri-truss assembly may include three vertical support members. Two of the three vertical support members may include pins configured to be placed within pre-drilled holes in a surface in order to maintain the tri-truss assembly upright. A third vertical support may be a different length (shorter or longer) than the first two vertical support members and include an adjustable foot, such as a threaded bolt, configured to contact the surface and provide additional stability and/or support.
