A gravity gate latch that is sized and configured to be positioned in the gap between the free end of a gate and a stationary object when the end of the gate is adjacent the stationary object to automatically engage a strike member on the gate. The gate latch has a pair of side plates that are spaced apart to define a space that encloses a lever actuating mechanism and a hook plate. The hook plate has a hook member that engages the strike member of the gate. The lever actuating mechanism has a pair of lever arms, which can be accessed from either side of the gate, that move the hook plate upward to disengage the strike member. A lock receiving member at the bottom of the gate latch receives a padlock to lock the gate latch. The padlock can also be accessed from either side of the gate.

The placement of the vertical brackets upon the base is selected so that each of the attached guardrail sections can be arranged independently of one another in any direction. The interior gate assembly is operably designed to engage with and deviate rearward while the load is delivered to the platform via forklift in order to provide a barrier between the respective railing and side of the load. The exterior gate assembly is operably designed to provide a barrier while the load of goods is manually removed from the pallet.

A vehicle barrier system employing a first gate arm having a first continuous side wall with a first channel, a second gate arm slidably insertable into the first gate arm having a second channel, and a third gate arm slidably insertable into the second gate arm with a third channel. A fastener secures the extended gate arms to a desired length. Once extended, an LED light strip is placed through the channels. The light strip can be cut to size as necessary, wherein the length of the gate arm and associated light strip can be adjusted on site to a particular length. A controller is used to pivot the gate arm between a horizontal and vertical position to operate as a vehicle barrier.
