Modular Guardrail System
A modular guardrail system relates to a set of interconnected beams that each fit into pairs of detachable bases, thus allowing for the creation, adjustment, and removal of a variety of configurations of temporary fence-style barriers. Each guardrail section may include two vertical posts, one on each end of each guardrail section, connected by a set of horizontal beams and, in some cases, a horizontal toeplate. Adjacent guardrail sections share a common base, thus allowing for the chain assembly of an extended barrier. The base that connects to the guardrail sections may include several vertically-oriented brackets that may slide into the different guardrail posts. The placement of the vertical brackets upon the base is selected so that each of the attached guardrail sections can be arranged independently of one another in any direction. The vertical brackets may be rotatably attached, thereby allowing for more flexible arrangements of the guardrail sections.
Barrier body arrangement for a passage barrier of an access control system
A barrier body arrangement for a passage barrier of an access control system, includes at least a first substantially optically transparent barrier body having a first light coupling surface, at least one second substantially optically transparent barrier body having at least one second light coupling surface, wherein the first barrier body is connected to the second barrier body, at least one light source device configured to couple light into the first light coupling surface and/or the second light coupling surface, and at least one substantially optical transparent separation layer arranged between the first barrier body and the second barrier body.
MONITORED ESCALATOR BARRICADE SYSTEM
A monitored escalator barricade system is disclosed herein having a barricade assembly including a hosting column supporting a one-way swinging door and a magnetic locking mechanism. The barricade assembly is installable at a landing floor and allows for one-way passage of a user riding along an outer edge of an escalator in order to prevent injuries. The barricade assembly utilizes IR beam transmitters on an exterior of the hosting column to detect when a user arrives near the landing floor and unlock the one-way swinging door as the user approaches. The monitored escalator barricade system includes various visual and audio indicators for notifying authorities.
PASSAGE BARRIER
A passage barrier includes a first guide element and a second guide element, wherein the first guide element and the second guide element define a gate region, through which a person passes from an entrance region into a passage region. At least one barrier element can prevent and/or enable the passage of a person from the entrance region into the passage region within the gate region. At least one of the guide elements includes a profile attachment element for attaching at least one profile of a guide element to the base of a building structure, wherein the profile attachment element has a vertical profile mount for mounting a vertically running profile on the profile attachment element and the profile attachment element has a horizontal profile feedthrough for feeding a horizontally running profile through the profile attachment element.
PASSAGE BARRIER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PASSAGE BARRIER
A passage barrier has guide elements, the first guide element and the second guide element cooperate such that they define a gate region, through which a person passes from an entrance region into a passage region. At least one guide element includes a vertically running profile, on which a locking apparatus is arranged. The locking apparatus has a torque transmission toothing, which engages into a complementary torque reception toothing of the hollow shaft, wherein a circular stop disc is disposed, which has a toothing engagement, which is engaged with the torque transmission toothing. The stop disc has on its stop disc circumferential surface a stop lug, which protrudes radially from the stop disc circumferential surface, and cooperates with a stop element arranged on the vertically running profile such that a rotation of the stop disc is delimited by the stopping of the stop lug against the stop element.
PASSAGE DEVICE AS WELL AS METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH A PASSAGE DEVICE
The invention relates to a passage device comprising: at least one passage traversable by at least one person along a passage direction; at least two sidewalls spaced from each other along a direction extending perpendicularly to the passage direction, the sidewalls being connected with each other, wherein the passage is bounded along the direction by the sidewalls, and at least one capturing device by means of which a body temperature of the person located in front of at least a partial area of the passage along the passage direction can be contactlessly captured, wherein the passage device, considered on its own, is formed as a structural unit assembled and mobile.
ASSEMBLY OF A PRIMARY DELIMITING ELEMENT AND A SECONDARY DELIMITING ELEMENT FOR A GATE SYSTEM, USE OF SUCH AN ASSEMBLY, AND PRIMARY DELIMITING ELEMENTS AND/OR SECONDARY DELIMITING ELEMENTS FOR SUCH AN ASSEMBLY
Arrangement of at least one primary limiting element and at least one secondary limiting element for a sluice system, in particular in the access area of an event site, where the primary limiting element includes a dimensionally stable primary guide element extending longitudinally in the access direction and/or the secondary limiting element includes a dimensionally stable secondary guide element extending longitudinally in the access direction, where at least the primary limiting element is reversibly transferable between an operating state and a stowed state, where in the operating state a passage extending in the access direction is formed between the primary limiting element and the secondary limiting element, and where for widening the passage in the stowed state at least the primary limiting element, in particular the entire primary limiting element, is stowed.
SWING/WING GATE TURNSTILE
A wing/swing turnstile gate, installed at controlled entrances or exits, comprising at least: a frame; a flap; the frame comprises at least a control unit and an actuating means. The control unit is in communication with the actuating means such that the control unit is able to operate the actuating means. The flap is fixed to the actuating means of said frame such that the flap is operable, from a close position to an open position and/or vice versa when a user is present within its zone of detection, by said control unit via the actuating means. The flap is equipped with a sensing device, in communication with the control unit, apt to regulate the behavior of the flap, and/or send information of a user to the control unit to be processed.
Safety Gate Closure Preventer
The safety systems enhance the safety of confined spaces which can present a danger to human occupants who may become entrapped within the confined space during a dangerous condition. The safety systems are particularly useful with confined spaces having access openings and a door or other movable barrier for the access opening. The safety systems having movable safety gates proximate the access openings. The disclosed safety gates are movable from a closed position where the safety gate forms a physical barrier which inhibits human entry into the confined space to a safety position where the safety gate prevents the door from closing and entrapping a person within the confined space.
DOOR LEAF AND DOOR SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a door leaf formed of a flexible material, wherein the flexible material is resistant to puncture and resistant to tearing; and to a door system comprising the door leaf.
