LEANING CONTROL SCHEME FOR A FIRE APPARATUS
A fire apparatus includes a chassis, a front axle coupled to the chassis, a rear axle coupled to the chassis, a ladder assembly coupled to the chassis, and a stability system. The stability system includes at least one of (i) a front downrigger coupled to the chassis, (ii) a rear downrigger coupled the chassis, or an outrigger coupled to the chassis. The stability system is controllable to facilitate leaning the fire apparatus at least two degrees relative to a ground surface while maintaining full operational capability of the ladder assembly.
FIRE APPARATUS
A fire apparatus includes a chassis, a front axle coupled to the chassis, a rear axle coupled to the chassis, a torque box coupled to the chassis, a pedestal coupled to the torque box, a ladder assembly coupled to the pedestal, and a stability assembly. The torque box has a front end and a rear end. The pedestal is positioned between the front end and the rear end of the torque box.
The stability assembly includes a housing coupled to the chassis and the front end of the torque box, a pair of outriggers received within the housing, and a downrigger coupled to the rear end of the torque box. The pair of outriggers is selectively extendable laterally outward in opposing directions. The downrigger is selectively extendable downward.

Fire apparatus level indication system
A level indication system includes a sensor system and a control system. The sensor system is positioned to acquire stability data regarding a stability characteristic of a vehicle at a current location. The stability characteristic includes at least one of a slope, a grade, or a jackknife angle. The control system is configured to determine whether the stability characteristic is within an operational range or a nonoperational range, provide an indication that the vehicle is reconfigurable at the current location into a state whereby the vehicle is operable at the current location in response to determining that the stability characteristic is within the operational range or an indication that the vehicle is not operable at the current location in response to determining that the stability characteristic is within the nonoperational range, and facilitate engaging a stabilization system of the vehicle in response to the stability characteristic being within the operational range.

REPOSITIONABLE CONSOLE
A vehicle includes a chassis, tractive assemblies, a body assembly, a turntable, a platform, and a control console. The tractive assemblies, body assembly, and turntable are coupled to the chassis. The platform supports an operator in a command position and includes an outer perimeter. The control console includes a base coupled to the turntable and spaced from the outer perimeter. The control console includes a movable section that is movably coupled to the base and includes an operator interface configured to receive operator commands to control a vehicle system. The movable section is repositionable relative to the base between a stowed position and an operating position. The operator interface is accessible by the operator from the command position when the movable section is in the operating position. The vehicle has an overall height defining a top plane. The movable section is below the top plane when in the stowed position.
