CRANE
A crane includes a lower traveling body, an upper turning body that is turnably provided on the lower traveling body, a counterweight that is mounted on the upper turning body, and a ladder for getting on and off the upper turning body. The ladder has an engagement member that is able to be engaged with and disengaged from an engaged portion provided at the upper turning body, a support portion that supports the engagement member, and a following mechanism that is interposed between the engagement member and the support portion. When the engaged portion in a state of being engaged with the engagement member is moved downward with work of mounting the counterweight, the following mechanism causes the engagement member to follow downward movement of the engaged portion.
Ladder safety stabilizer
A ladder safety stabilizer is a telescopically adjustable device that attaches to the rung of a ladder on one end and to the building that the ladder is leaning against at the other end to prevent the feet of the ladder from sliding while a user is climbing, and to provide a second stabilization point in addition to the feet of the ladder to provide greater ladder stability, increased safety, and reduced accident risk.

Mass Tuned Ladder Rung And Ladder Formed Therewith
A rung which can be installed in a ladder is disclosed which comprises a first plate having first and second ends, each of the first and second ends having a relief tab and an opening, and a second plate, the second plate being identical to the first plate, the first and second plates being nestable such that the relief tabs of the first plate insert through the openings of the second plate to form the rungs.
LADDER EXTENSION BRAKE
Provided is a braking system for use with an extension ladder having a base section and a fly section movable relative to the base section via an adjustment rope. The braking system includes a bracket for attachment to the fly section. A pulley and an arm are secured to and movable relative to the bracket by the adjustment rope between a first position when no tension is applied to the rope and a second position when tension is applied to the adjustment rope. A cam is movable between an engaged position when the pulley and arm are in the first position with the cam engaging with the base section to prevent movement of the fly section relative to the base section, and a disengaged position when the pulley and arm are in the second position.
