Load transfer stations
A fire apparatus includes a chassis, axles coupled to the chassis, a turntable rotatably coupled to the chassis, and an aerial ladder assembly pivotably coupled the turntable. The aerial ladder assembly includes a first ladder section extending longitudinally, a second ladder section extending longitudinally, and a support slidably coupling the second ladder section to the first ladder section such that the first ladder section supports the second ladder section. The support facilitates longitudinal movement of the second ladder section relative to the first ladder section between an extended position and a retracted position. The support is pivotably coupled to the first ladder section.
ADJUSTABLE STAIR ASSEMBLY
A stair assembly may include a plurality of steps, a main stringer pivotably connected to a corresponding lateral end of each of the plurality of steps, and a support stringer pivotably connected to a corresponding lateral end of each of the plurality of steps, wherein the main stringer and the support stringer are movably connected to the plurality of steps such that the rise and the run of the plurality of steps remains consistent when the main stringer and the support stringer are moved relative to each other.

PORTABLE LADDER SYSTEM
A portable ladder system pivotally mounted to a ladder support member that is configured to be removably secured to the edge of the bed of a truck trailer. The portable ladder system can be mounted to multiple locations along the edge of a bed and does not need to be mounted to a traditionally constructed stake pocket. The portable ladder system can be quickly and easily attached in a locked fashion and detached from the bed without the use of tools.

LOAD TRANSFER STATIONS
A fire apparatus includes a chassis and a ladder assembly coupled to the chassis. The ladder assembly includes a first ladder section, a second ladder section slidably coupled to the first ladder section, a first support pivotably coupled to the first ladder section, and a second support fixedly coupled to the first ladder section. The first support and the second support are each configured to limit vertical movement of the second ladder section relative to the first ladder section.

Electronic safety structure and system
An electronically-enhanced climbing structure has a first lower and a second higher horizontal surface provided at different heights above ground level to support weight of a user, enabling the user to attain a working position above ground level, electronic circuitry comprising a microprocessor mounted to the climbing structure, a first pressure sensor on the first, lower horizontal surface, coupled to the electronic circuitry, a second pressure sensor on the second, higher horizontal surface, also coupled to the electronic circuitry, and an alert output mechanism. The electronic circuitry receives signals from the first and the second pressure sensors at different times, processes the signals to determine safe use of the climbing structure, and, in an event of unsafe use, triggers the alert output mechanism to issue an alert of unsafe use.
