Electronic safety structure and system
An electronically-enhanced climbing structure has a first lower and a second higher horizontal surface provided at different heights above ground level to support weight of a user, enabling the user to attain a working position above ground level, electronic circuitry comprising a microprocessor mounted to the climbing structure, a first pressure sensor on the first, lower horizontal surface, coupled to the electronic circuitry, a second pressure sensor on the second, higher horizontal surface, also coupled to the electronic circuitry, and an alert output mechanism. The electronic circuitry receives signals from the first and the second pressure sensors at different times, processes the signals to determine safe use of the climbing structure, and, in an event of unsafe use, triggers the alert output mechanism to issue an alert of unsafe use.
SAFETY LADDER AND RETAINING SYSTEM FOR TRAILER
A climbing apparatus for safely climbing on a roof of a trailer, the climbing apparatus comprising a ladder portion, a upper pivot portion for pivoting an upper portion of the ladder portion, the upper pivot portion being secured to the trailer to allow movements of the ladder portion between a work configuration and a stored configuration next to a wall of the trailer and a movable support adapted to maintain the ladder portion in the work configuration by providing increased angle between the ladder portion and the wall of the trailer.
LIGHTED SAFETY LADDER
A lighted safety ladder includes two rails and a plurality of rib members connected to the two rails. A platform may be provided at one end of the ladder and is located above an uppermost one of the plurality of ribs. A light source is provided on one or both of the rails; one or more of the plurality of rib members; and one the platform. The light source may be in the form of a light emitting diode (LED) strip that is installed in a slot defined in the rails, the rib members or the platform or that is adhered or otherwise secured to the surface of the rail, rib member or platform. The light source provides illumination to the rails, rib members and/or platform so that an operator may better see these components in low lighting conditions.
VEHICLE ACCESS DEVICE MOUNTED HOLDER FOR EQUIPMENT
An equipment holder for mounting on an access device of a vehicle, such as on a side rail of a retractable stair or ladder of the vehicle. The holder can be configured to hold one or more wheel chocks and/or one or more fire extinguishers. The holder can be mounted by a unique mounting bracket. Other equipment may be carried in the holder e.g. one or more radio communications handsets, first aid equipment, protective clothing (such as a hard hat, weatherproof jacket) or a tool kit, or combinations of two or more thereof. The holder can include a cradle or rack mounted to the access device by the mounting bracket.

DOOR FOR VEHICLE STEPS
A cover is provided to protect steps leading to a cab of a vehicle from accumulation of mud, snow, ice and other debris when the vehicle is driven. The cover is pivotally mounted for movement between an open position allowing a vehicle operator to climb the steps and a closed position covering the steps from top to bottom to maintain cleanliness of the steps as the vehicle is driven. The cover can be opened and closed from the top of the steps, either manually or with an actuator. The cover is normally closed when the vehicle is moving and open when the vehicle is stationary.

FLIP-OVER LADDER SYSTEM
A flip-over ladder system includes a handle assembly configured to be mounted to a front face of a wall. The system further includes a ladder assembly, including first and second rail assemblies defining left and right sides of said ladder assembly, at least one rung spanning said first and second rail assembly, first and second bracket members, each configured to be both secured to said front face of said wall, and to vertically support said first and second rail assemblies, respectively. Each of said first and second rail assemblies comprises a bottom rail segment hingedly coupled to a middle rail segment, a middle rail segment hingedly coupled to an upper rail segment, and wherein said upper rail segment is hingedly connected to said first and second bracket member, respectively.
Control system for ladder and machine using the same
A machine includes a machine body that includes an operator platform. The machine also includes an implement, a ladder moveable between a deployed position and a stowed position, and control unit configured to limit operation of the implement when the ladder is in the deployed position.
