ATTACHMENTS FOR A COLLAPSIBLE MARINE LADDER
Attachments for a collapsible marine ladder including a rung attachment for attaching to the ladder rungs. Each rung attachment includes an upper part having a first channel defined along a downward facing side of the upper part. The first channel receives an upward facing side of the rung. A downwardly angled section of the upper part extends below the rung when the upper part is attached to the rung. A pad is received on top of an upward facing side of the upper part and interfaces with a user's foot. A second channel on an upward facing side of a lower part receives a downward facing side of the rung such that the upper part attaches to the lower part. A rail attachment attaches to a rail of the ladder and receives a rail extension for extending the length of the rail. The rail extension has a handgrip.
UNDERWATER PLATFORM INSTALLATION IN AN EXISTING SWIMMING POOL
A retro-fit installation modifies the existing pool ladder structure of an existing in-ground or above-ground swimming pool to support an underwater swim out platform structure. In some versions, the ladder rails of the existing pool ladder are used to support the underwater platform, while in others the existing pool ladder rails are replaced with new tubular platform rails specifically designed to support the underwater platform structure. Other versions are adapted for installations in a round pool or at a corner of a rectangular pool.
LAST STEP INDICATOR FOR LADDERS AND LADDERS INCORPORATING SAME
Ladders and ladder components are provided inluding a rung assembly that provides an alert to a user of the ladder that they are standing on a particular rung or step. In one example, the lower most rung or step of a ladder includes a rung assembly having an alert mechanism. The alert mechanism may provide an audible and/or other sensory alert to a user when they step on the rung assembly so that the user recognizes their position relative to the ground or supporting surface. In one embodiment, the rung assembly is configured to include a base member, a displaceable member and an alert mechanism, wherein the displaceable member is positioned between the alert mechanism and the base member.
Loading apparatus with pivoting handle
A loading apparatus is provided that includes a set of stairs, a platform, and a handle. The stairs are attached to the platform and the platform has a locking mechanism. The handle has a first end that is pivotally attached to the set of stairs and the locking mechanism is capable of engaging the handle.
Ladder
A ladder stabilizer is provided, comprising an extension bar portion, a main arm portion, a brace bar portion, teeth strips, and levers. The extension bar portion is enclosed by an outer wall surface, an inner wall surface, and two side wall surfaces, and having upper and lower end portions. The main arm portion has upper and lower end portions configured for a telescopic connection. The brace bar portion has first and second end portions, and the first end portion is connected to the side portion at a lower position, and the second end portion is connected to the extension bar portion at a middle position. The teeth strips are fixed to lower portions of the two side wall surfaces of the main arm portion. Each lever has latching and releasing ends, installed on the two side wall surfaces of the extension bar through two spring-loaded hinges.
Horizontal collapsing ladder
A collapsible ladder assembly for mounting to a trailer comprises a ladder portion, a trailer mounting bracket, two extensible arms extending between connection with the ladder portion and connection with the trailer mounting bracket. The assembly has a first pivotal connection coupling the ladder portion to each of the two extensible arms a second pivotal connection coupling the ladder portion to each of the extensible arms, wherein an axis of the first pivotal connection is substantially normal to an axis of the second pivotal connection; and a third pivotal connection coupling each of the two extensible arms to the trailer mounting bracket.
Anchoring a cantilevered step to a fiberglass utility pole
A pole step apparatus for fiberglass utility poles can have a supporting body is disclosed, having a bended portion with a brace on the supporting body; a grip surface distal to the bended portion; a nut on a threaded portion of the supporting body to tighten the brace toward the bended portion via the threaded portion of the supporting body; a passthrough in the brace formed can accommodate a supporting body and resists rotation; the bended portion is formed on the supporting body at a 90-degree angle; an arc is formed on the brace adjacent to the bended portion; and the brace resists rotation via a non-cylindrical, anti-rotational portion of the supporting body.
WALKTHROUGH AND STANDOFF MECHANISMS FOR LADDERS, LADDERS INCORPORATING SAME AND RELATED METHODS
A ladder and ladder accessory are provided including an accessory that may be coupled to the ladder in multiple configurations and serve multiple purposes. In one embodiment, a pair of components are each selectively coupled with associated rails of a ladder in a first, stored state, and a second, walkthrough state. When in the walkthrough state, the components extend upwards from and above the rails so that a user may gasp the components and step between the components when transitioning from the ladder to an elevated surface (e.g., a roof) or vice versa. In another embodiment, the components may be coupled to the ladder such that they extend in a direction that is substantially transverse to a plane through which the rails extend. When in this transverse orientation, the components may be used as a stand-off device.
Ladder rung extension assembly
A ladder rung extension assembly includes a bracket assembly including a first pin, a second pin, a pair of mounting assemblies, a pair of first bracket portions extending between the first pin and the second pin, and a pair of angled bracket portions, each of the angled bracket portions extending between the second pin and a respective mounting assembly of the pair of mounting assemblies, a first rung extension assembly having a pivot portion rotatable about the first pin, and a second rung extension assembly having a pivot portion rotatable about the second pin. The ladder rung extension assembly may be engaged with a ladder and have an open position corresponding to the ladder in a deployed position and a closed position corresponding to the ladder in a stored position.
