A ladder having a first rail and a second rail. The ladder having a standard rung having a width permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The ladder having a first wide rung having a width greater than the width of the standard rung, which is permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The ladder having a second wide rung having a width greater than the width of the standard rung which is permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The first wide rung and the second wide rung are disposed in a work zone of the ladder. The work zone of the ladder is where a user typically stands on the ladder while performing tasks. The standard rung is disposed outside the work zone. A wide rung. A method for using a ladder. A method for producing a ladder.

Assembled Ladder

An assembled ladder includes two supporting leg assemblies, at least one rung and a bridging part, wherein each supporting leg assembly of the two supporting leg assemblies includes a front supporting leg and a rear supporting leg rotatably connected to the front supporting leg, and the at least one rung and the bridging part are detachably connected between the two supporting leg assemblies. During logistics transportation, the at least one rung is detached from the two supporting leg assemblies, the bridging part is also detached from the two supporting leg assemblies, and the two supporting leg assemblies are stacked. In use, two ends of the bridging part are fixedly connected to the two supporting leg assemblies, and two ends of the at least one rung are also fixedly connected to the two supporting leg assemblies.

Extendable / retractable ladder

An extendable/retractable ladder assembly includes a first stile and a second stile and a plurality of rungs extending therebetween. Each stile may comprise a plurality of columns disposed in a nested arrangement for relative axial movement in a telescopic fashion. A connector assembly connects the rungs to respective columns in the first and second stiles. The ladder has improved manufacturability since connector assemblies may be assembled before connecting the rungs to respective columns. The standing surface of the rungs may be angled such that it is rotated towards horizontal when the ladder assembly is leaned against a wall. A latch assembly may be used to selectively lock relative axial movement between adjacent columns. The latch assembly includes a locking pin assembly comprised of a central post and an outer metal sleeve. An air damper may also be used to control airflow through the columns.

Foldable ladder

A foldable ladder has a first ladder portion and a second ladder portion hingedly attached to the first ladder portion by a pair of hinge mechanisms. Each hinge mechanism adapted to lock the first and second ladder portions such that the first ladder portion and the second ladder portion form an angle therebetween. The hinge mechanism has a locking pin to lock the first and second ladder portions at an angular position. Each rung is connected to a column by a connector assembly having first and second release buttons.

Intermediate rung apparatus for a ladder

An intermediate rung apparatus for use with a ladder includes a first hook, legs, and an intermediate rung. The first hook is configured to extend over a rung of the ladder and couple the intermediate rung apparatus to the ladder. The intermediate rung apparatus also includes legs extending from the first hook. The legs are configured to extend in a downward direction substantially parallel to vertical supports of the ladder when the intermediate rung apparatus is coupled to the ladder. The intermediate rung apparatus further includes an intermediate rung connected to the legs and configured to extend in a direction substantially parallel to the rung of the ladder when the intermediate rung apparatus is coupled to the ladder. In some embodiments, a mount may be used to support the intermediate rung apparatus and/or the ladder.

A horizontal extendable ladder is revealed. The horizontally extendable ladder includes at least three rails and a plurality of rungs disposed between the two adjacent rails. The three rails are set vertically while the rungs are equally spaced and arranged horizontally between the two adjacent rails from top to bottom to form at least two ladder frames. Each of two ends of the rung is arranged with a first pivot shaft that is pivotally connected to the rail. Thereby the rungs can be rotated synchronously between the two adjacent rails for horizontal retraction or extension of the ladder. The ladder is used more efficiently.
