FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
A fall protection system having a top bracket assembly that is mountable to a top portion of the ladder, a spaced bottom bracket assembly that is mountable to a bottom portion of the ladder, and a cable extending therebetween portions of the top bracket assembly and the bottom bracket assembly substantially parallel to a plane bisecting the vertical ladder at a desired distance from the plane.
Safety accessory
A safety accessory for stabilizing a user on a step ladder is provided. The safety accessory includes an elongate member having a shaft and at least one handle portion extending perpendicularly to the shaft and structured to be gripped by the user, the handle portion having a strap ring; a harness configured to removeably couple to the strap ring of the handle portion, the harness being structured to cradle and urge the user toward the center of gravity of the step ladder when the user stands on at least one of the plurality of steps of the step ladder; and a clamp configured to removeably attach to a selected location on the side rail of the step ladder, the clamp having a receptacle structured to slideably receive the shaft of the elongate member and a positioning structure configured to maintain the shaft of the elongate member into a selected one of a plurality of longitudinal positions with respect to the clamp. The safety accessory acts to stabilize the user when he/she grips the handle portion of the elongate member.
PARAPET DESCENT APPARATUS
A parapet descent apparatus can include a mounting panel configured to be secured to the parapet of an elevated structure; and a parapet ladder secured to the mounting panel and including: a first ladder rail; a second ladder rail; and a plurality of rungs, each of the plurality of rungs extending from the first ladder rail to the second ladder rail, the parapet ladder defining a first end configured to be secured to the parapet of the elevated structure and a second end distal from the first end and configured to contact a surface of the elevated structure, a top surface of the parapet being offset above the surface of the elevated structure by a wall height of the parapet.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING THE CONDITION OF A FALL - PROTECTION SAFETY SYSTEM
Systems and methods for monitoring and reporting the condition of a permanent fall-protection safety system. The systems and methods use a sensor to obtain data corresponding to a physical state of at least one component of the safety system, the at least one component and the sensor being at a remote location and/or at an elevated height, relative to a base unit. The systems and methods further include wirelessly transmitting the data to the base unit, processing the data to reach an indication of a change in a physical state of the at least one component of the safety system, and reporting the condition of the safety system based on the indication of the physical state of the at least one component of the safety system.
Ladder fall protection system and fall arrester
A fall arrest system for use on a ladder. The fall arrest system includes a primary rope line on which a fall arrester is slidably mounted, and a pair of anchor assemblies that securely extend and connect between the primary rope line and respective legs of the ladder. A body harness worn by a worker climbing the ladder is tethered to the fall arrester.
FALL ARREST SYSTEM
A fall arrest system includes a ladder configured to provide access to an elevated structure and a fall arrest device configured to be secured to the elevated structure, the fall arrest device including an upper anchor, the upper anchor including a first end configured to be secured to the elevated structure and a second end distal from the first end.
LADDER DOCK
A ladder dock system can include a ladder dock including a mounting panel and a connecting panel connected to the mounting panel, the ladder dock defining a ladder notch. The ladder dock system can further include a ladder configured to provide access to an elevated structure and sized to rest against the ladder dock, the ladder notch sized to receive and fix a position of the ladder relative to the ladder dock.
TOP BRACKET FOR FALL PROTECTION SAFETY SYSTEM
A top bracket for supporting a safety cable of a vertical climbing fall protection system, the bracket including a base plate and a pivotally deflectable plate that is integrally and pivotally connected to the base plate by a neck. The top bracket may also include an abutment plate with a forward abutment surface that is separated from a rearward abutment surface of the pivotally deflectable plate by an elongate gap.
