A system and method for a coupling housing. The housing houses a coupling, such as a cable. The housing is coupled to a lift via an attaching device. The coupling can be lowered down to secure to ground equipment. This allows a stranded lift, such as a ski lift, to be properly secured to the ground equipment. This allows for the safe and efficient removal of any stranded passengers.

A ladder coupling assembly includes a pole brace strap formed of flexible webbing and including a rope guide ring structured to guide a rope lifeline, and a buckle structured to selectively attach to a corresponding buckle attached to the rope lifeline, the rope guide ring and buckle disposed proximate a central portion of the pole brace strap, and a rung buckle strap coupled to a central portion of the pole brace strap and formed of flexible webbing and structured to wrap around a first rung or a rail of a ladder proximate an upper portion of the ladder and including rung buckles structured to selectively attach to each other to secure the rung buckle strap in a position wrapped around the first rung or rail of the ladder.

A standing seam mounting bracket and a method of using two or three to provide attachment points along a standing seam roof is provided. The standing seam mounting brackets enable complementary use of commonly-owned equipment for enabling roof maintenance and construction. The standing seam mounting brackets may be used in concert with roof jacks, roof ladders, scaffolding members and the like that are commonly owned by most contractors so as to facilitate safe and easy horizontal and vertical movement along the sloped roof.

A ladder safety device is usable for holding and stabilizing a ladder in a safe and stable manner while being used, by way of securing a ladder relative to continuous horizontal guttering at the edge of a building. The device locks to the gutter by way of locking jaws and is secured to the side rail of a ladder by way of an adjustable locking barsaid locking bar being adjustable in lateral and normal directions. The jaws interact by an over-center relationship with each other. In an alternate embodiment, a trigger and locking mechanism secures the jaws in a closed position while in use.

A ladder tree stand raising apparatus for raising a ladder tree stand into position adjacent to a tree. The apparatus comprising an elongated member, a first lateral member, and a second lateral member. The elongated member having a first end and a second end. The first end of the elongated member is connectable to the tree. The first lateral member is connected to the second end of the elongated member. The second lateral member is connected to the elongated member and spaced a distance from the first lateral member. The second lateral member has at least one arm having a substantially U-shaped configuration. The at least one arm is engageable with a rung of the ladder tree stand. An open end of the at least one arm extends away from the second lateral member.

A safety ladder for accessing the rooftop of a building structure is disclosed. In a version, the safety ladder comprises a first and second side rail extending between a lower free end and an upper free end; a plurality of horizontal rungs vertically disposed between the side rails; and a hinged roof portion operably positioned between the first and second side rails near the upper free end terminating at a top end, wherein the hinged roof portion rotates about a hinge axis between a default position and a forward rooftop position.

A restraining system and method for detachably securing a ladder to a shoring or excavation support structure. The restraining assembly, primarily configured from an elongated flexible restraining material, includes a proximal member, possessing a fastener configured to removably attach onto either side rail of a ladder. The assembly further includes a distal member, possessing a fastener configured to removably attach to a shoring anchor located on the top portion of a shoring wall. The mediate portion of the restraining assembly is configured to concurrently retain both the proximal and distal members, including a tensioning means for the adjustment of the overall functional length of the restraining assembly. In particular embodiments, the restraining system includes a shoring or excavation support structure having at least one shoring wall that includes a multiplicity of shoring anchors attached at predetermined locations.

A ladder tie off system incorporates a safety strap into a ladder for securing the ladder to prevent undesired tipping. The system includes a ladder having a pair of lateral side members and a plurality of rungs extending between the lateral side members. A extendable tether includes a tensioning mechanism, a fixed section, and an extendable section. A mount is coupled to the tensioning mechanism of the extendable tether. The mount is coupled to the ladder proximate a top end of the ladder wherein the extendable tether is configured for is secured to a static object near the top of the ladder whereby the ladder is inhibited from tipping during use.

A climbing stick connector system includes first and second climbing sticks releasably secured to one another with first and second posts extending parallel to one another. In one implementation, the first climbing stick has a stopper having a shelf and a projection received within an aperture in one of the posts, wherein a step is pivotally secured to the post above the shelf by a fastener extending through the stopper. The first climbing stick has a V-shaped claw having spaced ears receiving the post therebetween, and the step has opposite upwardly facing concave edges.

A support member and support system for securing a ladder to a structure. The support member includes a U-shaped frame, a shaft assembly, and a connector. The U-shaped frame includes first and second arms interconnected by a crossbar and configured to releasably engage opposing sides of a ladder. The shaft assembly extends from the crossbar and has the connector disposed at a free end thereof. The connector is configured to releasably engage a mounting member secured to a structure. The support system includes the support member and at least one mounting member configured for use therewith.
