A safety attachment which is used to stabilize a straight ladder or an extension ladder, comprising: a main body, which contains an upper portion and a lower portion, the upper portion and the lower portion are connected to each other; the upper portion can be attached to the ladder, and the lower portion can stably contact ground surface; a plate, which is fixed on the main body, and a first loop is fixed on the plate; and at least one rope, which has one connector located on both ends of the rope respectively, and one of the connectors is used to detachably attach to the first loop to let the rope connect to the main body, another one of connectors is used to detachably attach to a second horizontal bar on the ladder to let the rope connect to the ladder.

Strand grab, ladder and method

A strand grab for a ladder having a hook assembly, a gate assembly engaged with the hook assembly and a biasing spring. The biasing spring produces a return biasing force which is less than a weight force of the ladder when the hook assembly rests on the strand allowing the gate assembly to close with the hook assembly and squeeze the strand between the gate assembly and the hook assembly in a closed position and hold the ladder in place with the strand. A ladder for use with a strand having a first rail and a second rail. The first rail has a first strand grab directly attached to the first rail and the second rail has a second stand grab directly attached to the second rail. A method for using a ladder. A method for making a ladder.

Provided is a platform assembly that includes a platform having a mounting channel extending downward from the bottom of the platform at a mounting side of the platform, a support arm that supports the platform and engages a ladder, and a locking mechanism attached to the mounting side of the platform. The locking mechanism is configured to cover the mounting channel while in a locked position and uncover the mounting channel while in an unlocked position. When the platform assembly is installed on the ladder and engaged with a standoff bracket installed on the ladder, the platform provides a stable and substantially level platform allowing a user to step on and off the ladder.

Ladder fascia clamp and lock

A clamping device for securing a ladder to a structure including a housing having a first, ladder end, and a second, building end opposite the ladder end, the housing defining an internal cavity. The clamping device utilizes a clamp with a housing end disposed within the housing and an opposite, grip end configured for releasable attachment to the structure. The clamp laterally reciprocates relative to the housing between an extended position and a retracted position. Additionally, the clamping device also includes a ladder hook associated with the ladder end of the housing for releasable engagement with the ladder, and an actuator associated with the housing and configured for causing lateral reciprocation of the clamp relative to the housing.

BAR-GRATE-DECKING LADDER STABILIZER SYSTEM AND METHOD
20260071492 · 2026-03-12 ·

A bar-grate-decking ladder stabilizer system and method for removably securing a variety of stepladders to a variety of standard bar-grate decking. A brace unit providing a rack bar with rack teeth, a drop-through preventing handle and an under-grate crossbar is placed through a void between two main bearing bars of bar-grate decking and positioned such that the under-grate crossbar is forced against the underside of the two main bearing bars and the adjacent bars. A clamp unit providing a rack bar guide and a pawl is clamped to a rail or stringer of the stepladder, with the rack bar of the brace unit passing upward through the rack bar guide of the clamp unit. In a ratcheting action the pawl allows upward movement of the rack bar but prevents downward return by locking into the rack teeth of the rack bar, thereby maintaining a pulling force between the ladder rail and the decking, stabilizing the stepladder for safe use.

Ladder mounted securing device for preventing slippage of ladder during use

A ladder securing device includes a housing that has a rotating interface configured to attach to a portion of a ladder. The housing is rotationally operable between an attaching position and a bypass position. A reel is disposed within the housing, and includes a strap that is selectively extendable to a plurality of extended positions. The reel biases the strap to a coiled position around a spool of the reel and within the housing. A retainer is attached to an end of the strap, and is configured to attach to one of the ladder and the housing in a securing position that secures the ladder to an adjacent support structure.

ADJUSTABLE LADDER STABILIZER
20260085579 · 2026-03-26 ·

A stabilizer for an upright support of a ladder or scaffolding a base, a stabilizing arm, and a joint. The base includes at least one moveable component and a clamping component. A portion of the base is shaped to at least partially encompass the upright support. The clamping component exerts force on the moveable component to hold the base in a fixed position on the upright support when at least partially encompassed within the base. The joint couples the stabilizing arm to the base. The stabilizing arm pivots about at least one axis at the joint.
