LADDER STABILIZER APPARATUS
20210180404 · 2021-06-17 ·

A stabilizer apparatus has a mounting frame that mounts onto a ladder so as to be longitudinally slidable along the rails of the ladder. Stabilizer legs are pivotally supported on the mounting frame between a stored position in which the legs are supported alongside the mounting frame and a working position protruding outwardly from the mounting frame. A screw clamp type retaining mechanism selectively prevents longitudinal displacement of the mounting frame relative to the ladder for stabilising the ladder while in the working position of the legs.

Ladder

A ladder stabilizer is provided, comprising an extension bar portion, a main arm portion, a brace bar portion, teeth strips, and levers. The extension bar portion is enclosed by an outer wall surface, an inner wall surface, and two side wall surfaces, and having upper and lower end portions. The main arm portion has upper and lower end portions configured for a telescopic connection. The brace bar portion has first and second end portions, and the first end portion is connected to the side portion at a lower position, and the second end portion is connected to the extension bar portion at a middle position. The teeth strips are fixed to lower portions of the two side wall surfaces of the main arm portion. Each lever has latching and releasing ends, installed on the two side wall surfaces of the extension bar through two spring-loaded hinges.

Ladder

A rung lock assembly is provided for a ladder, and comprises rung lock portions, a pinion gear, compression springs, a rung body, a rung cover, a center bolt, a spacer, and a fastener portion. Each of the rung lock portions comprises a rod portion, a rack block fixed to the rod portion, a locking portion, a holding portion connecting the rod portion to the locking portion so that the rod portion is disposed in parallel with the locking portion and configured to be held and pulled by a user's hand, and the rung lock portions are anchored by guide plates and disposed in parallel with each other. The pinion gear is disposed between and engaging the rack blocks, so that the rung lock portions translate outwards or inwards together. The distance between the locking portion is increased in both directions simultaneously by pulling one of the holding portions.

LADDER TRIPOD ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEM

The invention provides a tripod assembly comprising a plurality of legs, a central support member, and a central post. Each of the legs is pivotably coupled to the central support member. The central support member surrounds the central post. A plurality of columns is disposed in a nested arrangement for relative axial movement in a telescopic fashion along an axis of the plurality of columns between a fully-extended position and a collapsed position. The columns are received in the central post when the columns are in the collapsed position. A first end of a connecting rod is coupled to one of the columns. A bracket assembly is coupled to a second end of the connecting rod and is configured to receive a rung of a ladder therein. A bracket member is coupled to an uppermost column and includes a channel configured to receive a second rung of the ladder therein.

Multipurpose ladder and method

A multipurpose ladder having a first inner section. The ladder has a first articulated hinge and a second articulated hinge. The ladder has a second inner section. The ladder has a first outer section. The ladder has a first locking bar. The ladder has a second outer section. The multipurpose ladder may have a plurality of brackets disposed about outer rails of the outer sections. The brackets provide support to each of the outer rails and strengthens them against bending forces so the rails can be thinner and of lighter weight. The ladder may have an ANSI duty rating of 1A or an ANSI duty rating of 1AA. A method for using a multipurpose ladder. A method for producing a multipurpose ladder.

Ladder stabilizer

A ladder stabilizer for step ladders and extension ladders. The ladder stabilizer is collapsible for storage. Additionally, the ladder stabilizer includes legs that are adjustable in length and pivotally secured to a rigid lateral support. The rigid lateral support also carries a step plate secured by a hinge to the lateral support. The step plate provides the point of engagement between the ladder stabilizer and a rung of the ladder.

Ladder Stabilization Apparatus and a Stable Ladder

A ladder includes a ladder stabilization apparatus which includes implements for providing sideways support, front-back support, and a bridge to rest the ladder on a structure to be climbed, such that the ladder is stable when a user climbs the ladder facing away from the structure, and the bridge allows the user to climb out of the ladder on to the structure through the bridge. The bridge also allows the user to climb on to the ladder facing from the structure, facing away from the structure, while the ladder is stable when the user climbs down while acing away from the structure.

Provided is ladder having an extension leg movable longitudinally in first and second directions opposite one another, and a stabilizer arm pivotably coupled to and movable with the extension leg. The stabilizer arm is pivotable about an axis perpendicular to the first and second directions such that the stabilizer arm is rotated relative to the extension leg to contact a surface to stabilize the ladder in a sideways direction perpendicular to the first and second directions.

Fall arrest ladder system
10890029 · 2021-01-12 ·

A fall arrest ladder system including a housing assembly having a retractable lanyard, braking system, safety line, and webbing belt is disclosed. The fall arrest system allows for the safe deceleration of the user from an elevated position on a ladder to prevent the user from making harmful contact with the ground. The safety line and retractable lanyard are each attached to a ladder and then attached to the webbing belt worn by the user, permitting the user to freely move along the length of the ladder while remaining tethered securely in the event of a slip or fall from the ladder. The safety line prevents the user from falling away from the ladder while the retractable lanyard and incorporated braking system decelerate the user during a downward fall.

Ladder stabilization support assembly
10865602 · 2020-12-15 ·

A ladder stabilization support assembly for lateral and vertical stabilization support to ladders in general and long span extension ladders in particular preventing the ladders from lateral movement such as tipping, overturning or slipping off the supporting grounds. The assembly is built to take advantage of a light-weight t-slotted aluminum profile and comprises two telescopic support legs pivotally mounted on opposite sides of a ladder to effectively support and level the ladder on any uneven supporting grounds. An adjustable sliding mechanism provides for a smooth, low tolerance and wobble-free telescopic sliding function with numerous length adjustments positions. A pivot joint provides for endless number of pivotal and swivel adjustment positions. The assembly can quickly and easily be mounted onto the ladder, remain permanently attached to the ladder or be taken off the ladder when not in use. The assembly also allows extension ladders to operate in a self-supporting stand-alone mode.
