Stepladder folding leg

A folding leg for a stepladder is disclosed. The folding leg allows the width of the stepladder base to be narrowed when in the stored orientation and widened while in an in-use orientation.

A ladder stabilization assembly for inhibiting a ladder from tipping laterally includes a pair of eyebolts that can each be attached to a respective leg of a ladder. A tube is insertable through each of the eyebolts such that the tube is oriented to extend along a horizontal axis. In this way the tube is aligned with a support surface on which the ladder is standing to inhibit the ladder from tipping laterally.

The three leg members include an upper portion and a lower portion wherein the lower portion is slidably engaged with the upper portion. A clamp member is disposed in each of the three leg members and is configured to operably engage a portion of the lower portion of each of the three leg members. The clamp member includes opposing jaw members with a void therebetween.

Described herein is an improved ladder leg extender and leveler assembly including an elongate frame member or structure which can be fixed in a flush relation to a ladder leg side rail and secured to at least two ladder rungs. Each elongate frame member includes a slidably engage elongate leg extension which engages a height adjustment member or actuator that is located on a surface of the elongate frame member. The height adjustment member operates via a spring actuated pin or rod which engages a series of pre-set slots on the elongate leg extension to adjust the height of the ladder on either side. Also, a pivoting ladder stabilizing element which is extendable. This greatly provided additional stability and security.

Described herein is an improved ladder leg extender and leveler assembly including an elongate frame member or structure which can be fixed in a flush relation to a ladder leg side rail and secured to at least two ladder rungs. Each elongate frame member includes a slidably engage elongate leg extension which engages a height adjustment member or actuator that is located on a surface of the elongate frame member. The height adjustment member operates via a spring actuated pin or rod which engages a series of pre-set slots on the elongate leg extension to adjust the height of the ladder on either side. Also, a pivoting ladder stabilizing element which is extendable. This greatly provided additional stability and security.

Ladder

A ladder stabilizer is provided, comprising an extension bar portion, a main arm portion, a brace bar portion, teeth strips, and levers. The extension bar portion is enclosed by an outer wall surface, an inner wall surface, and two side wall surfaces, and having upper and lower end portions. The main arm portion has upper and lower end portions configured for a telescopic connection. The brace bar portion has first and second end portions, and the first end portion is connected to the side portion at a lower position, and the second end portion is connected to the extension bar portion at a middle position. The teeth strips are fixed to lower portions of the two side wall surfaces of the main arm portion. Each lever has latching and releasing ends, installed on the two side wall surfaces of the extension bar through two spring-loaded hinges.
