Roof climbing tool
A tool for engaging a roof includes a peak engagement member for engaging a first surface of the roof, and an operator climbing member including an elongated central body and a plurality of spaced apart step handles mounted on the central body. The operator climbing member is configured for engaging the second surface of the roof and is operatively connected to the peak engagement member.
REMOVABLE SUPPORT PLATFORM FOR LADDER
Provided is a platform assembly that includes a platform having a mounting channel extending downward from the bottom of the platform at a mounting side of the platform, a support arm that supports the platform and engages a ladder, and a locking mechanism attached to the mounting side of the platform. The locking mechanism is configured to cover the mounting channel while in a locked position and uncover the mounting channel while in an unlocked position. When the platform assembly is installed on the ladder and engaged with a standoff bracket installed on the ladder, the platform provides a stable and substantially level platform allowing a user to step on and off the ladder.
Roof ridge ladder hook
An apparatus and method for supporting a ladder on a roof having a ridge is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes a frame, a roof anchor, a first ladder engagement portion, a second ladder engagement portion and a wheel assembly. The first ladder engagement portion and the second ladder engagement portion attach the apparatus to the ladder. The wheel assembly enables the apparatus to be easily rolled up and down the roof and the roof anchor anchors the apparatus over the ridge of the roof to attach the apparatus, and thus the ladder, to the roof.
Ladder stabilizer attachment device
A ladder stabilizer attachment device secures a ladder stabilizer to a ladder. The device includes a sleeve including an outer wall. The outer wall has an outer face, an inner face, an upper end, and a lower end. The lower end is open. A slot extends into the inner face from the lower end to receive a top end of a ladder side rail and an uppermost rung of the ladder into the slot. A top edge of the slot defines a stop whereby the stop rests upon the uppermost rung of the ladder. A coupler is mounted to the sleeve. The coupler releasably engages the uppermost rung of the ladder.
Multifunctional and Adjustable Ladder Support Device
The multifunctional ladder support device is intended to provide users with an adjustable accessory for different kinds of ladders. More specifically, the device is a permanent attachment to a ladder that enables users to use the attachment as a roof standoff, wall standoff, ladder stabilizer, etc. To accomplish this, the device includes a plurality of arm structures attached to the plurality of side rails of the ladder. Each of the arm structures have multiple pieces and connectors that help to extend the arm structures in different directions and angles, to achieve the intended functionalities. Further, the device may be stowed in a retracted mode, without hindering any functionalities of the ladder. Furthermore, the arm structures have holes to thread through external fasteners, thereby providing additional support and stability features to the ladder system. Thus, the device is a simple and efficient accessory and safety attachment for ladders.
Apparatus for restraining movement of a ladder
An apparatus for restraining the movement of a ladder is disclosed. The apparatus is formed of plate which can be attached to roof of a structure using nails or other fastening devices. In one embodiment of the present invention, the plate has a stationary bracket which extends from an edge of the plate. A movable bracket is attached to the plate which also has a portion that extends from the edge of the movable bracket. The stationary bracket and the moveable bracket cooperate to receive and retain the respective side support rails of a ladder when the ladder is leaned against a structure. In a second embodiment, both brackets are movable.
