Drilling rig

A drilling rig includes a base section, a first section, a second section, a third section and a fourth section. For the base section upper region, a fixed pulley block and a guide pulley are installed. Except for the fourth section-crown block section, each section lower region is installed with a lifting lug for a movable pulley block installation for substantially vertical lifting. The crown block section is installed substantially vertical; the subsequent section is located substantially horizontal with the section front pillar upper region connecting to the previous section front pillar lower region. The previous section is substantially vertical lifted to draw the next section skidding into the base section and lifting substantially vertical with the previous section pillar lower region connected to the next section pillar upper region.

Materials handling vehicle

A materials handling vehicle having a chassis, two front ground engaging wheels, two rear ground engaging wheels, a front loading arm pivotally mounted relative to the chassis about a generally horizontal front loading arm axis extending laterally relative to the vehicle, a rear arm being a single rigid rear arm and being pivotally mounted at a first end relative to the chassis about a generally horizontal first axis, the rear arm being pivotable relative to the chassis about a generally vertical second axis and a piling rig for removing spoil to form a hole, the piling rig being pivotally mounted at a second end of the rear arm about a generally horizontal third axis extending laterally relative to the arm.

A mobile, coiled tubing drilling apparatus with a rotary drill head, includes a non-rotating mast on a mobile platform. The mast has mounted thereon an injector below a coiled tubing reel. The injector defines an operational axis for the coiled tubing. The rotary drill head is pivotally mounted on the injector so as to be movable between a retracted position away from the operational axis and an operating position in line with the operational axis. The rotary drill head includes a top swivel for non-rotating connection to the coiled tubing and a bottom spindle for rotating connection to a pipe section. The top swivel and the bottom spindle provide fluid communication between connected coiled tubing and connected pipe section during operation.

GUIDE FOR TOP DRIVE UNIT

A method for forming a guide for a top drive unit includes connecting a lower track member to a lower mast section and connecting an upper track member to an upper mast section and telescoped with the lower track section. A slider is slidably positioned about the upper track member so the slider is movable along the upper track member. The slider has a lateral cross-sectional profile substantially the same size and shape as a lateral cross-sectional profile of the lower track member. The skate is slidably positioned about the lower track member to be movable along the lower track member and onto the slider. The skate travels along the upper track member via the slider. The skate is connectable to a top drive unit so the top drive unit is movable along the lower track member and the upper track member.

Method of drilling a ground using a robotic arm

The invention relates to a method of drilling ground along a drilling direction, the method comprising: providing at least first and second drill tubes (40, 42); providing an articulated and motorized manipulator arm (12) having a gripper member (30); using the gripper member (30) to take hold of the first drill tube (40); moving the gripper member in the drilling direction so as to drive the first drill tube into the ground, the gripper member releasing the first drill tube; then taking hold of the second drill tube and fastening the second drill tube to the first drill tube; and moving the gripper member so as to drive the first and second drill tubes into the ground.

Wireline system and methods of using same

A wireline system for use during drilling operations. The wireline system has a wireline assembly and a roller assembly. Both the wireline assembly and the roller assembly are positioned within a front portion of a drill rig.

MAST COUPLING ASSEMBLY FOR A MOBILE DRILLING MACHINE

A drilling machine is disclosed. The drilling machine may include a mast and a machine frame. The mast may include a mast frame, a movable drill head assembly, a first pivot aperture, and a plurality of first lock apertures each corresponding to a different drilling position of the mast. The machine frame may include an engine, a ground engaging assembly having an axle, and a mast coupling assembly having at least a pair of opposed legs, each leg including at least one plate. The at least one plate of each leg may include a second pivot aperture positioned to align with the first pivot aperture to pivotably couple the mast to each leg. The at least one plate may also include a second lock aperture positioned to align with each of the first lock apertures and receive a lock pin for locking the mast in a drilling position.

MOVEABLE BOP TRANSPORT SKID

A system for conducting a subterranean operation where the system can include a blowout preventer (BOP) stack, a chassis coupled to the BOP stack, and one or more transport devices coupled to the chassis and configured to transport the chassis and the BOP stack from a first location to a second location.

An exemplary derrick assembly includes a frame, a hydraulic cylinder assembly, a drive assembly, and a hydraulic assembly. The hydraulic cylinder assembly is mounted to the frame, and includes a piston rod, a single-tube cylinder body, and a hydraulic chamber. The piston rod is secured to the frame, and the cylinder body is mounted to the piston rod for reciprocal movement between proximal and distal positions. The hydraulic chamber is defined in part by the piston rod and the cylinder body, and expands and contracts with movement of the cylinder body. The drive assembly is mounted to the cylinder body for movement with the cylinder body. The hydraulic assembly configured to charge hydraulic fluid into and out of the hydraulic chamber to cause the hydraulic chamber to expand and contract, thereby moving the cylinder body and the drive assembly between the proximal position and the distal position.
