A drill head for earth boring, in particular for a horizontal drilling device, includes a housing, a transmitter for generating a radio signal, an antenna and a receiver for receiving a reflected radio signal, wherein the receiver is adapted such that the reflected radio signal can be transmitted unprocessed to a device above ground.
Drill head for earth boring, Drilling device for earth boring having the drill head, Method to detect objects while earth boring, and Use of direct digital synthesizer as a signal in detecting an obstacle in earth boring
A drill head for earth boring, in particular for a horizontal drilling device, includes a housing, a transmitter for generating a radio signal, an antenna and a receiver for receiving a reflected radio signal, wherein the transmitter which is adapted to generate the radio signal includes a direct digital synthesizer.
Dynamic jack reference control system and method for extending vehicle jacks
A dynamic jack reference control system may include a tilt sensor operatively associated with the vehicle so that the tilt sensor senses a tilt angle of the vehicle. A processor operatively connected to the tilt sensor produces a jack reference value based on the tilt angle of the vehicle. A speed controller operatively associated with the processor extends the at least one jack on the vehicle at a speed that is related to the jack reference value.
Adjustable Drilling Rig
An adjustable drilling rig is provided for drilling and installation of foundational micropile matrices in difficult to access locations. A support frame of separately adjustable legs define a perimeter of the rig and drilling area. A translational frame of arms and a crossbar is selectively mounted to the support frame for easy transport and assembly at remote work sites. The crossbar is selectively slidable along the arms in a Y-axis direction. A crossbar bushing is selectively slidable along the crossbar in an X-axis direction. A mast is slidably attached to and movable with the crossbar. Various adjusters are included and are independently and selectively activated to move the crossbar, and therefore mast and attached drill head, translationally along the X- and Y-axes, optionally Z-axis, and rotationally about the X- and Y-axes to achieve five degrees of freedom in five planes for drilling at any angle within the drilling area.
Multifunctional articulated drilling machine with improved stability
A multifunctional articulated drilling machine, particularly but not exclusively adapted for excavation and drilling operations in galleries and tunnels, includes a vehicle equipped with tracks and a drilling member, a connection arm adapted to connect the drilling member to the vehicle, a first constraining system constraining the lower end of the arm to the vehicle, and a second constraining system constraining the guide of the drilling member to the upper end of the arm. The tracks can be translated crosswise in order to vary the distance between them.
Vehicular auger implement
A mobile auger implement is used with an auger bit and a motor for driving the bit. The implement includes an adjustable base, a central articulating section having a double 4-bar linkage connected to the adjustable base and providing a range of movement, and an auger support and control section connected to the central articulating section and providing an operator handle for guiding the bit. The double 4-bar linkage includes central, base, and distal links and four bars each having a fixed length and being connected to the central link. The first and second bars are parallel to one another at all times, and the third and fourth bars are parallel to one another at all times. The base link is unable to tilt relative to the distal link, such that the auger maintains an angular orientation. Adjustment of the adjustable base affects the angular orientation of the auger.

Downhole all-optical magnetometer sensor
Various systems and methods for implementing and using a downhole all-optical magnetometer include downhole all-optical magnetometer sensor, including optical receiving ports that receive light pulses, a depolarizer that depolarizes received light pulses, and a polarizer that polarizes depolarized light pulses from the depolarizer. The sensor further includes a vapor-filled cell through which polarized light pulses from the polarizer are directed, wherein interactions between vapor and a magnetic field within the vapor-filled cell alter at least some of the polarized light pulses, and an optical transmitting port that directs altered light pulses from the vapor-filled cell out of the sensor.
Drilling device, and drilling construction method for an electric power iron tower foundation
A drilling device includes a hydraulic drilling unit, a multi-way connector, a compressed air conduit, a plurality of air compressor units, an air duct, a dust removal unit and an operation bench. The hydraulic drilling unit is capable of moving among a plurality of drilling platforms and among a plurality of hole positions on the plurality of drilling platforms and performing a drilling operation. The plurality of air compressor units are disposed in a fixing and mounting region that is between the plurality of drilling platforms. The dust removal unit includes a dust collection cover and a dust remover, where the dust collection cover is configured to be located at any one of the plurality of hole positions, the dust remover is disposed in the fixing and mounting region, and the dust collection cover and the dust remover are connected through the air duct.
CORE DRILL APPARATUS FOR INSTALLATION IN EXCAVATOR
The present invention relates to a core drill apparatus which is mounted to a working boom of an excavator so as to drill rock or a concrete structure and, more particularly, to a core drill apparatus for installation in an excavator, which comprises a ring gear and a plurality of elevation cylinders that are connected to and installed in a working support frame mounted to the end of a working boom of an excavator so as to rotate the working support frame, and at the same time, is configured to support the working frame while adjusting the height of the slope using the elevation cylinders when the working frame is supported on an inclined work surface. Therefore, the present invention enables a drilling bit provided in the working support frame to stably drill a structure regardless of the inclination of a work surface to be drilled, and can thus significantly improve the efficiency of a drilling operation.
