A completion system is provided for use downhole in a wellbore that includes a pipe with a restriction inside the pipe. The system includes an upper completion assembly with a mandrel with a mandrel axis and a stinger sub rotatably connected with the mandrel and rotatable around a stinger axis offset from the mandrel axis. The stinger sub also includes a first portion wet-mate connector located in a radially outward portion of the stinger sub. The system also includes a lower completion assembly with a second portion wet-mate connector. The first and second portion wet-mate connectors are connectable downhole. Further, rotation of the stinger sub around the stinger axis rotates and moves the radially outward portion radially inward with respect to the mandrel axis. Doing allows the upper completion assembly to move past a restriction and further downhole into the wellbore.

An apparatus may include a connector sub rigidly securable to a conveyance for running the connector sub along a wellbore and a spool mandrel coupled to a downhole end of the connector sub. The spool mandrel is rotatable with respect to the connector sub. Further, the apparatus may include a control line extending between the connector sub and the spool mandrel. The control line is displaceable to permit rotation of the spool mandrel with respect to the connector sub. Additionally, the apparatus may include at least one biasing member for biasing the spool mandrel to a neutral position with respect to the connector sub.

Processes for injection of fluids into a wellbore via drill pipe

Processes for injection of fluids into a wellbore via drill pipe. In some embodiments, the process can include positioning a downhole apparatus on a drill pipe. The process can also include placing the downhole apparatus at a desired station depth within a wellbore. The process can also include attaching a cable to the downhole apparatus from an up-hole environment. The process can also include setting at least one packer to seal a space between at least a portion of the downhole apparatus and an inner surface of the wellbore. The process can also include introducing a fluid to the downhole apparatus through the drill pipe and using a pump to inject at least a portion of the fluid into a geological stratum.

Methods and systems for a clutch allowing for one way free rotation of a mandrel

A mandrel that includes a keyed outer diameter, wherein the keyed outer diameter are configured to interface with indicators on an inner diameter of housing when rotated in a first direction and freely slide over the indicators when rotated in a second direction.

Completing and working over a wellbore

An assembly and method for completing a wellbore. The assembly includes a polished bore receptacle, a torque lock ring, and a left-hand threaded coupling. The torque lock ring is positioned inside the polished bore receptacle. The torque lock ring couples the polished bore receptacle to an upper completion assembly. The left-hand threaded coupling is positioned inside the polished bore receptacle. The left-hand threaded coupling receives a left-hand threaded surface of the upper completion assembly.

Mechanically actuated tubular drilling, reaming and running tool with slip set control

Various devices/methods to move a set of slips and control gripping force on a tubular are disclosed. The slips may be part of a mechanically-actuated casing running tool. The slips may be moved into and out of engagement with a tubular member by rotating a portion of the tool. The rotation may be applied from top drive unit. Set down force or other frictional measures on a pipe collar are not required. A series of interconnected gears through a clutch may be used to cause the slips to engage/a tubular member. A force may be applied to stop rotation of a threaded member, such as a power screw female or threaded nut, to facilitate threading action to set or release the slips. The control of torque applied on the top drive unit and the subsequent dis-engagement of the clutch enables active control of gripping force on the tubular member.

A downhole tool, including first and second sections, the second section being rotatable relative to the first section, a lock sleeve attached to the first and second sections, the lock sleeve being unlockable by application of a threshold torque acting between the first section and the second section. A positive displacement motor assembly, including a housing, a power section, and a stator, a drive sub connected to the rotor, and a lock sleeve nonrotatably attached to the housing and to the drive sub, the lock sleeve being releasable at a selected threshold torque between the housing and the drive sub. A method for forming a casing exit, including running a tool to a target location in a borehole, causing the first section and the second section to experience different rotational strain, releasing the lock sleeve at a torque threshold between the first and second sections.
