Tooling rack for drill pipes
A tooling rack (1) for storing slender objects, such as pipes (4), comprises at least one rack element (6) which is provided with at least one slot (7). Each slot is bordered by resilient opposite holding elements (10, 11) between which an object is to be accommodated. The resilient opposite holding elements (10, 11) exert a holding force on the object (4), respectively give way to release the object against said holding force. Furthermore, with the aim of securing the objects against shocks and the like, locking means (12-16) are provided. These locking means in a locking state engage the resilient opposite holding elements (10, 11) and prevent said resilient opposite holding elements from giving way and from releasing the holding force exerted on the object (4), and an idle state in which said resilient opposite holding elements are allowed to give way and release the object.

A racking device is provided with a heave motion synchronization system that is adapted to bring a tubular retrieved from the storage rack in heave motion into a vertical motion that is synchronous with the heave compensation motion of the string slip device. The racking device includes vertical rails and at least two separate motion arm assemblies mounted on said vertical rails. Each separate motion arm assembly includes its own vertical drive which is electrically connected to the heave motion synchronization system.
Pipe Deployment Trailer
A trailer is provided having a trailer base and a trailer bed mounted to the trailer base. The trailer includes at least one actuator coupled to the trailer bed and the trailer base that raises and lowers the trailer bed. When the at least one actuator is extended, the trailer bed is raised to a vertical orientation. When the at least one actuator is retracted, the trailer bed is in the horizontal orientation. The trailer includes a lifting head protruding outwardly from the trailer bed. The position of the lifting head is adjustable along a longitudinal axis of the trailer bed.

Offshore drilling system, vessel and methods
Offshore drilling system for performing subsea wellbore related activities including a drilling vessel, with a floating hull subjected to heave motion. A main cable heave compensation sheave is provided for heave compensation of a travelling block. A connection cable heave compensation sheave is provided between a connection cable winch and a top sheave assembly supported on the hull of the vessel in or above the moonpool. The main cable heave compensation cable sheave and the connection cable heave compensation sheave are mechanically interconnected so as to allow for synchronous motion thereof.
EXPENDABLE SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR UNDERGROUND DRILLING
A manipulator for providing drilling expendables to a drill head of an underground drill rig includes a gripper that is arranged to selectively grip and release the drilling expendables and to move the gripper between a first position facing a supply magazine and a second position facing the drill head. The manipulator is also arranged to automatically take and return expendables to and from the magazine and drill head. A supply device provides the expendables to a drill head of an underground drill rig having the supply magazine, and to an underground drill rig, as well as an underground mining vehicle.
WELLBORE DRILLING SYSTEM
Wellbore drilling system comprising: a drilling tower, a drill floor having a well center through which a drill string passes along a firing line, a drilling tubulars storage rack adapted to store multiple drilling tubulars in vertical orientation, a tubular racking device having at least a lower first tubular racker assembly and at least a second tubular racker assembly operable at a greater height than the first tubular racker assembly, each tubular racker assembly comprises a base, a motion arm connected to said base, and a tubular gripper member connected or connectable to the motion arm and adapted to grip a tubular,
whereinwith the tubular gripping member connected to the motion arm of the racker assembliesthe tubular racking device is adapted to grip and retain a drilling tubular by the tubular racker assemblies, and wherein the tubular racking device is adapted to place a tubular in and remove a tubular from the drilling tubulars storage rack,
and wherein the tubular racking device has a reach at least allowing to transfer a tubular gripped by said first and second tubular racker assemblies between the drilling tubulars storage rack and a position of the tubular aligned with the firing line above the well center so as to allow for building and disassembly of a tubulars string,
wherein the system further comprises one or more well center tools, each adapted for operation above the well center of the drill floor,
wherein the motion arm of the lower first tubular racker assembly is provided with a connector, and the at least one well center tool is provided with a complementary connector, and
whereinwith the at least one well center tool connected to the motion arm of the lower tubular racker assemblythe well center tool is operable above the drill floor.
Rod and rod cup alignment apparatus for drilling machine
A rod and rod cup alignment apparatus for a drilling machine has a receptacle for receiving a drill rod of the type having at least one rod flat, where the drill rod has a leading corner and a trailing corner relative to the direction of its rotation. The receptacle has at least one cup flat disposed on the inner surface of the receptacle and the cup flat further has a first top surface and a second top surface. The second top surface has a slope downward toward the bottom of the rod cup, so that, as the drill rod is lowered into the rod cup while the drill rod is rotating, the leading corner of the drill rod is caused to move downward along the second top surface, whereupon the trailing corner of the drill rod contacts the first top surface, thereby aligning the drill rod flat with the rod cup flat.
