A lifting assembly for a dust curtain of a work machine includes a pair of mounting brackets. Each mounting bracket is coupled to a frame of the work machine. The lifting assembly also includes an arm assembly pivotally coupled to each mounting bracket and is movable relative to the mounting brackets between a first state in which the dust curtain is disposed in a lowered position and a second state in which the dust curtain is disposed in a lifted position. The arm assembly includes a first arm member and a second arm member. The first arm member includes a first linear portion and a first curved portion. The second arm member includes a second linear portion and a second curved portion. The lifting assembly further includes a lifting plate coupled to the dust curtain and a linkage assembly coupling the arm assembly with the lifting plate.

A bore hole drilling system includes a mobile bore hole drilling platform including a mast disposed on the platform including a support for a drill string and a tube member for location within the collar region of a bore hole. The tube member includes an internal longitudinal passage for receiving a drill string therethrough and an external surface for facing outwardly against a wall of the bore hole. The system includes a coupling mechanism that is configured to couple and decouple the tube member and the drilling platform when the tube member is located coaxially within the collar region of the bore hole and substantially axially aligned with the drill string and/or the mast.

A sampling pipe (7) of a sampling arrangement (6) for taking a sample from drilling dust flowing in a dust removal pipe (5) of a drilling apparatus, at an end of which sampling pipe (7) there is a suction opening (8) which is arranged to be positioned in the dust removal pipe (5) of the drilling apparatus to suck drilling dust into the sampling pipe (7). The sampling pipe (7) comprises a suction pipe (10) into which the drilling dust of the dust removal pipe (5) is arranged to be conveyed via the suction opening (8) of the sampling pipe (7), and a coil (11) connectable to alternating current and wound around the suction pipe (10).

A sampling pipe (7) of a sampling arrangement (6) for taking a sample from drilling dust flowing in a dust removal pipe (5) of a drilling apparatus, at an end of which sampling pipe (7) there is a suction opening (8) which is arranged to be positioned in the dust removal pipe (5) of the drilling apparatus to suck drilling dust into the sampling pipe (7). The sampling pipe (7) comprises a suction pipe (10) into which the drilling dust of the dust removal pipe (5) is arranged to be conveyed via the suction opening (8) of the sampling pipe (7), and a coil (11) connectable to alternating current and wound around the suction pipe (10).
