Apparatus, system and process for regulating a control mechanism of a well

An apparatus, a system and a process may be used for regulating a wellhead control mechanism. The apparatus may control actuation of the wellhead control mechanism by moving a moveable body of the apparatus between a first position and a second position. When the apparatus is in the first position, a valve actuator is actuatable. When the apparatus is in the second position the valve actuator is physically interfered from actuating. Additionally, when the apparatus is in the second position, the wellhead control mechanism cannot be actuated and is held in either an open, a partially open or a closed position. Further, a system may directly control an actuation of a wellhead actuation mechanism.

DIVERTER FOR DRILLING OPERATION

A diverter assembly may include a diverter body assembly. The diverter body assembly may also include a diverter body, the diverter body fluidly coupled to the annulus of a wellbore via a casing or riser, and the diverter body including one or more diverter outlet ports fluidly coupled to the annulus of the wellbore. The diverter body assembly may also include an upper packer assembly. The upper packer assembly may include a packer sleeve, the packer sleeve mechanically coupled to the diverter body. The packer sleeve may include one or more breach lock slots. The upper packer assembly may also include an upper packer body having one or more packer breach lock tabs engaged with the breach lock slots of the packer sleeve. The diverter assembly may also include a diverter support housing, the diverter support housing coupled to the diverter body assembly.

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR MULTIPLE COMPONENTS

A connector assembly for multiple components includes a dog having an engagement feature configured to engage a first component while the dog is in a locked position. The connector assembly also includes a lock ring disposed about the dog along a circumferential axis of the connector assembly. One of the dog or the lock ring includes a cam surface, the other of the dog or the lock ring includes a driver, and the driver is configured to move along the cam surface in response to rotation of the lock ring and/or the dog along the circumferential axis to drive the dog to the locked position.

CROWN PLUG SECUREMENT SYSTEM

A crown plug for a tree of an oil/gas well/wellhead has a securement arrangement for securing the crown plug within the tree. The main body of the crown plug comprises a solid body creating the barrier within the production bore. The solid body creates a robust, strong and reliable barrier. The crown plug is retained within the outer member through inward distortion which secures the crown plug. The securement arrangement arises from an inward radial force that distorts the outer member inwardly to grip a component located within the outer member. The outer member elastically deforms and the outer member returns to a released position once the clamping force is released. Two concentric oppositely arranged tapered surfaces move axially to create the inwardly directed force. The clamping force and the solid body together provide an improved crown plug which is easy and reliable to operate.

Well access tool

A tool for gaining lateral access to a well includes a head portion configured to advance axially forwardly relative to a lateral access passage. The tool includes a first shaft and a shaft assembly including a second shaft. The second shaft is at least partly received in the first shaft so as to be axially forwardly moveable therewith. In use, axial forward movement of the first and second shafts causes forward advancement of the head portion. The second shaft is axially forwardly moveable relative to the first shaft. The first shaft includes an internal thread and the shaft assembly includes an external thread engaging the internal thread of the first shaft so that relative rotation of the internal and external threads causes the axial forward movement of the second shaft relative to the first shaft without rotation of the second shaft relative to the first shaft.
