In-situ process to produce hydrogen from underground hydrocarbon reservoirs
A hydrocarbon reservoir is treated with heat to induce gasification, water-gas shift, and/or aquathermolysis reactions to generate gases including hydrogen. The hydrogen alone is produced to the surface by using hydrogen-only membranes in the production wells.

FLOW CONTROL SYSTEM
A flow control system selectively regulates production of a fluid from a well. The flow control system includes a plurality of flow control devices, each flow control device rotatable by a portion of the fluid and selectively directing the portion of the fluid through an outlet of the flow control device based on the density of the fluid. The system further includes a regulator valve controlled at least in part by the portion of fluid exiting the outlet of the flow control device. The regulating valve regulates production of a remaining portion of the fluid from the well.

TUBING ANCHOR GAS VENT AND ASSOCIATED METHODS AND SYSTEMS
A gas vent can include an inner production tube and at least two outer housings. One outer housing is configured to be connected above a tubing anchor, and another outer housing is configured to be connected below the tubing anchor. The inner production tube is configured to extend longitudinally through the tubing anchor. A gas vent system can include an inner production tube which extends longitudinally through a tubing anchor, and an annulus formed between the inner production tube and the tubing anchor. A gas flows through an interior of the tubing anchor via the annulus.
Density gas separation appartus for electric submersible pumps
A system includes an electric submersible pump (ESP) configured for pumping fluid through a flow path. An autonomous inflow control device (AICD) is included in fluid communication with the flow path to separate one of gas or liquid out of the flow path. A method includes producing liquid from a wellbore using an electric submersible pump (ESP) in the wellbore. The method includes bypassing gas from a headspace the wellbore using an autonomous inflow control device (AICD) to prevent gas locking the ESP.

DOWN HOLE DESANDER
A downhole solids separator having: a plurality of solids separation modules, a production tube disposed therein, one or more limited entry ports in the production tube, placed in each of the modules, an intake port in the lower half of each module opening into a wellbore annulus, the intake port below the limited entry port of the module, a closed chamber for collecting solids, isolated from the well bore, the closed chamber below modules, a solids conveying conduit from at least one module, opening into the closed chamber, an opening restricted to less than the size of the production tube in the conduit near the bottom of the module, an opening in the production tube in the closed chamber, where the production tube opening and conduit opening are configured to effect a drop fluid velocity into production tube to a level insufficient to carry solids into the production tube.

DOWNHOLE GAS SEPARATOR
A gas separator including a first separator section and a second separator section. The first separator section and the second separator section each including an outer tubular member having at least one opening extending therethrough adjacent an upper end and an inner tubular member positioned in the outer tubular member to define an annulus. The annulus of the first separator section is fluidically sealed from a tubing string. A lower end of the inner tubular member of the second separator section is open to define a lower open end having a flow area and the lower end of the outer tubular member is fluidically sealed. The inner tubular member of the first separator section has at least one opening extending therethrough adjacent the lower end thereof. The opening has a flow area less than the flow area of the lower open end.
