IN-CUTTER SENSOR LWD TOOL AND METHOD
An instrumented cutter including a polycrystalline diamond table bonded to a substrate with a sensor, for monitoring the condition of the polycrystalline compact diamond table, embedded in the substrate. Further the instrumented cutter includes a wireless transmitter equipped with a power supply to power to the wireless transmitter.
Method for determining wear on a linkage of a ground drilling device
A method for determining the wear on a linkage of a ground drilling device includes detecting a bending load of the linkage. The bending load is used to carry out a service life calculation.

SUBSEA SENSOR MODULE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A subsea sensor module includes a sensor housing having a first section, a second section and a third section, each section having an outer profile and a module flange having an inner profile. An outer surface of the flange is substantially perpendicular to an outer surface of the housing in the first section. The housing outer profile and flange inner profile are substantially the same along the second section of the housing. A shoulder is formed in the housing outer profile in the third section by a transition of the diameter of the outer profile from a smaller to a larger diameter. The flange has a corresponding shoulder in the flange inner profile; wherein the flange is shrink fit mounted radially outwardly of the sensor housing second section such that the shoulders are in contact.

SYSTEMS FOR SECURING A DOWNHOLE TOOL TO A HOUSING
A system for securing a downhole tool to a housing includes a plurality of linear wave springs placed around a chassis. The linear wave strings have an unstressed height that is less than or equal to an annular gap. This reduces the insertion force required to insert the chassis into the housing. The linear wave springs are compressed to increase the amount of radial force applied to the chassis and the housing.
INTEGRATED PERFORATING GUN AND SETTING TOOL SYSTEM AND METHOD
An interchangeable module configured to be used in an integrated perforating gun and setting tool system, the interchangeable module having a body having a chamber, a first electrical connection located at a first end of the chamber, and a second electrical connection located at a second end of the chamber. The first end is opposite to the second end. An addressable switch located inside the chamber, the addressable switch has a digital address. A connection unit located inside the chamber and configured to electrically connect the addressable switch to an initiating device. The interchangeable module is configured to be used (1) between a first gun cluster and a second gun cluster and (2) between a distal gun cluster and a setting tool, and the first and second electrical connections are electrically connected to the addressable switch.
ADVANCED DRILL STRING INGROUND ISOLATOR HOUSING IN AN MWD SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A housing defines a through passage along its length and is configured to support a group of electrical isolators surrounding the through passage to form an electrically isolating break in a drill string such that each isolator of the group of isolators is subject to no more than a compressive force responsive to extension and retraction of the drill string. The housing defines a housing cavity to receive an electronics package having a signal port and is configured for electrical connection of the signal port across the electrically isolating break. A housing lid can cooperate with a main housing body to define elongated slots for purposes of enhancing the emanation of a locating signal. A housing arrangement can support electrical connections from an electronics package to bridge an electrically isolating gap.

VISIBLE/IR CAMERA-BASED MULTI-PHASE FLOW SENSOR FOR DOWNHOLE MEASUREMENTS IN OIL PIPES
Systems and methods for measuring flow velocity of a fluid mixture in a lateral section of an oil/gas well are presented. The flow velocity is measured by tracking movement of particles and/or features in the fluid mixture via visible and/or infrared imaging sensors of a camera-based flow sensor. According to another aspect, the imaging sensors detect back-reflected light by the particles and/or features, the light emitted by illuminators in the visible and/or infrared spectrum. According to yet another aspect, the particles are quantum dot illuminators injected into the fluid mixture, the flow velocity based on a time-of-flight of the quantum dots. The camera-based flow sensor may be rotatable to measure flow velocities at different angular positions of a pipe, rotation provided by rotation of an element of a mobile vessel to which the flow sensor is rigidly coupled.
