A NON-SWALLOWED, ANTACID CHEWING GUM PRODUCT, A PROCESS FOR ITS PREPARATION AND USES THEREOF
The present invention provides a non-swallowed, antacid chewing gum tablet comprising various antacid components with improved organoleptic properties. The invention also provides an extrusion process for obtaining the non-swallowed, antacid chewing gum tablet as well as the use of the extruded chewing gum tablet as an antacid medicament, and for the prevention and/or the treatment of antacid diseases.
System and method of forming multilayer confectionery
A method and an apparatus for making a multilayer confectionery product provided. The method and apparatus include at least two sets of forming drums that form and laminate confectionery sheets.
System and method of forming multilayer confectionery
A method and an apparatus for making a multilayer confectionery product provided. The method and apparatus include at least two sets of forming drums that form and laminate confectionery sheets.
Method for producing a confectionery product having a sugar-free coating covering
Methods for the production of a confectionery product having a sugar-free coating covering include applying an isomalt-containing coating medium to at least one confectionery core to obtain a coating layer enveloping the core, sprinkling at least one powdered rice starch isomalt composition onto the coating layer core to obtain a coating film, and crystallizing the coating film. The methods include applying the isomalt-containing coating medium to the at least one coating film to obtain at least one further coating layer, sprinkling the at least one powdered rice starch isomalt composition onto the further coating layer to obtain a further coating film, and crystallizing the further coating film. The method includes applying the isomalt-containing coating medium at least once to further coating film to obtain at least one further coating layer without subsequent sprinkling of the at least one powdered rice starch isomalt composition onto the coating layer.
System and method for temperature control of chewing gum
Disclosed is a system for cooling chewing gum, the system including a cooling housing including a relatively upper cooling environment and a relatively lower cooling environment, a conveying device configured to convey the chewing gum from an entry point to an exit point of the cooling housing, the conveying device at least partially delimiting the relatively upper cooling environment from the relatively lower cooling environment, a first cooling system configured to provide cooling output to the relatively upper cooling environment, and second cooling system configured to provide cooling output to the relatively lower cooling environment, wherein the relatively upper cooling environment and the relatively lower cooling environment are disposed in fluid separation from each other.

MOLDED CONFECTIONERY PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
A method is provided for making a molten, deposited confectionery product, such as a chewing gum product. In an embodiment of the method for making a chewing gum product, one or more sugar alcohols are blended and melted before adding gum base and other ingredients. The process allows depositing at cooler temperatures than previously believed possible, which simplifies safe processing and protects product quality. In cases where the product is deposited in molds which are part of the packaging, the lower depositing temperatures allow greater flexibility in packaging materials and processes than when the sugar alcohols and other ingredients such as gum base are melted together. A product of the method also is provided.
EDIBLE PRODUCT COATING USING PREGELATINISED STARCHES
The present invention relates to a coated edible product comprising a core and a coating, wherein the coating comprises a pregelatinized starch from rice, potato or tapioca as well as a process for the preparation of said coated edible product.
Control method of coating device
Provided is a control method of a coating device that can perform coating of coating targets well. The control method of a coating device includes a coating tank (25) which includes a drum (28A) having a cylindrical shape and rotatable, and a disk (38A) having a dish shape and disposed to close a lower end of the drum (28A) and rotatable coaxially with the drum (28A). The method executes a first rotation process of setting a posture of the coating tank (25) in a standing posture in which a rotation axis of the coating tank (25) is directed in a vertical direction, rotating the drum (28A) in one direction, and rotating the disk (38A) in the other direction, and a second rotation process of setting a posture of the coating tank (25) in an inclined posture in which the rotation axis is inclined with respect to the vertical direction and rotating the drum (28A) and the disk (38A) in the one direction.
PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF PARTICULARLY HARD CHEWING GUM
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for processing a hard gum base, comprising: humidifying or heat treating the hard gum base before an extrusion or cutting stage, wherein the humidification or heat treatment to reduce the hardness of the gum composition; and putting the gum base into a heated or humidified state in a short enough time before the extrusion or cutting happens so that the gum is in a softer state than it otherwise would be.
