CUTTER HEAD FOR MINING MACHINE
A cutter head includes a first member, a cutting bit, and a second member. The first member includes a first end and a second end and includes a first mass. The cutting bit is coupled to the first member proximate the second end. The cutting bit includes a cutting edge rotatable about the axis. The second member is rotatable about the axis and includes a second mass eccentrically positioned with respect to the axis. Rotation of the second mass causes the first member and the cutting bit to oscillate.

Spray system for mining machine
A mining machine includes a chassis, a cutting assembly coupled to the chassis, and a spray arm coupled to the chassis and positioned proximate the cutting assembly. The chassis includes a first end, a second end, and a chassis axis extending between the first end and the second end. The chassis is movable in a direction parallel to the chassis axis. The cutting assembly includes an arm and a rotatable cutting drum having a plurality of cutting elements. The spray arm includes a first portion, a second portion pivotably coupled to the first portion, and at least one spray nozzle for emitting a fluid spray in a region adjacent the cutting assembly. The first portion is coupled to the chassis and extends away from the chassis along a spray arm axis. The second portion is pivotable relative to the first portion about a wrist axis.

Fluid control valve
A cartridge valve is arranged to control a flow of a fluid within a fluid supply network of a cutting machine such as mining or drilling apparatus. The valve includes a main body that defines an internal chamber to accommodate a reciprocating piston and plunger operative to open and close the valve by axial sliding movement. An intermediate region of the chamber provides a fluid tight partition between a working fluid network and a supply fluid network.

Spray system for dust control on a mining machine
A spray system for dust control on a shearer machine that operates laterally with respect to a mining floor surface is provided where the spray system is provided with a set of first ranging arm sprays mounted on a first ranging arm and wherein said first ranging arm is located on a first end of a shearer machine chassis. A set of second ranging arm sprays is optionally provided and is mounted on the upper side of the first ranging arm and resides approximate to and in operational relationship to the set of first ranging arm sprays. Furthermore, a plurality of chassis spray sets may also be optionally provided and are located on a mining side of said shearer machine chassis and reside in a non-linear format. Moreover, a set of shearer-clearer venturi arm sprays may also optionally be provided and is mounted on a shearer-clearer venturi arm that resides as an angular extension of the set of first shearer-clearer arm sprays.
