Formwork for use in the construction of arched structures and method of constructing arched structures
A formwork for constructing an arched structure comprises a first end panel and a second end panel. A plurality of longitudinal members extends between the first end panel and the second end panel. The longitudinal members are arranged in an arched formation and the longitudinal members slope between the first end panel and the second end panel. The formwork may have rollers disposed along lengths of the longitudinal members.
Method for Producing a Construction Element, in Particular a Tunnel Element, Having a Watertight Seal
Method for producing a construction element, in particular a tunnel element, from a curing material, such as concrete, in a mould, said construction element being provided with a watertight seal on at least one side thereof, wherein a gasket is used comprising a deforming body which is produced from a yielding material, such as rubber. According to the invention a base is produced from a relatively strong material, which base may or may not be detachable from the deforming body. Said base with or without said deforming body is placed against an inner side of the mould, said curing material is cast in the mould, and said curing material is cured to form said construction element with said watertight seal.

CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT FOR CREATING A TUNNEL, TUNNEL COMPRISING SUCH AN ELEMENT AND METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING SUCH AN ELEMENT AND SUCH A TUNNEL
Construction element for creating a tunnel, including a first incompressible layer of concrete and a second compressible layer securely fastened to the first layer to form a monoblock prefabricated construction element configured to be integrated in a section of the tunnel during creation of the tunnel, the second layer including a plurality of devices each having a solid body integrating an empty space.
CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BUOYANCY ADJUSTMENT OF SHIELD TUNNEL SEGMENTS
The present invention discloses a control apparatus and method for buoyancy adjustment of shield tunnel segments, wherein the inner end wall of anchor rod accommodating cavity is provided with a first slurry channel extending forward to the outer peripheral wall of anchor rod, the countersunk bolt is provided with a second slurry channel passing through the front and rear end faces of the countersunk bolt, and a locking structure is disposed in the accommodating cavity to lock the countersunk bolt in the accommodating cavity and connect the first slurry channel and second slurry channel. The entire construction process which can be carried out during the construction or operation period greatly reduces construction costs and space.
Rehabilitation of deteriorated manhole and other sewer structures
A new inner passageway through a pre-cast concrete structure damaged by corrosion may be formed by stackable inserts formed of polymer concrete. The inserts may be stacked in the old passageway through the pre-cast concrete structure such that an inner surface of the stacked inserts forms a new passageway through the pre-cast concrete structure. A grout may be poured between an outer surface of the stacked inserts and an inner surface of the pre-cast concrete structure forming the old passageway. The surfaces of the stackable inserts may have superior resistance to corrosive acids such that the need for future repair is greatly reduced. Suitable pre-cast concrete structures for rehabilitation include pre-cast concrete structures utilized in wastewater systems, including manholes and other similar structures. In this manner, the damaged pre-cast concrete structures do not need to be removed during the rehabilitation.

Articulated prestressing tensioning device for shield tunnels and reinforcement method thereof
A prestressed tensioning device and a reinforcement method that is suitable for shield tunnels, pertaining to the technical field of shield tunnel construction and reinforcement technology. The device comprises: two sets of reinforcement components, wherein the reinforcement components are arranged opposite each other; a prestressing component disposed between the two sets of reinforcement components; and a prestressing rod disposed within the prestressing component. The prestressing rod is subjected to prestress tensioning by the prestressing component, wherein both ends of the prestressing rod extend beyond the prestressing component. Both ends of the prestressing rod are connected to the two sets of reinforcement components via high-strength nuts. The present invention utilizes an articulated structure, enabling the reinforcement components to adapt to handhole angles of tunnel segments with varying diameters, and is suitable for application within confined and smooth annular structures.
