TAMPING MACHINE, RAIL WORKS TRAIN AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH A TRAIN
A tamping machine for a works train for laying, repairing or replacing a rail track has a first truck and a second truck that are situated longitudinally at a distance from one another, a machine frame and a tamping shuttle, the tamping shuttle having a shuttle frame and one or more tamping units that are vertically movable with respect to the shuttle frame, the shuttle frame being linked to the machine frame by longitudinal guide means that allow a relative back-and-forth movement, between two end-of-travel positions, between the shuttle frame and the machine frame in a longitudinal direction of the tamping machine. The machine frame is entirely supported by the shuttle frame, which is carried by the first truck (20) and the second truck.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WORKING ON A TRACK WITH A TRACK MAINTENANCE MACHINE
The invention relates to a control and operating system for working on a track with a track maintenance machine, with at least one machine frame movable on rail-based running gears, comprising working devices , a sensor and measuring system for recording the position data of the working devices and for detecting objects of the track, in particular sleepers, rails, and, as the case may be, obstacles, and further comprising an arrangement of cameras for optical detection of the working devices and the working areas. It is provided that a control station without free visual range of a respective working device is set up at a location inside or outside the track maintenance machine and that the control station comprises a display device for virtual operation, control, and/or monitoring of the track maintenance machine. This achieves greater flexibility during working operation, an extension of the controlling and operating options, and a significant increase in safety and ergonomic design at the workstation.
REAL-TIME DETECTING SYSTEM FOR THE MECHANICAL QUALITY STATE OF BALLAST BED BASED ON TAMPING CAR
The system includes a track lining apparatus and two tamping apparatuses arranged in parallel, wherein the track lining apparatus includes two track lining hydro-cylinders, and the track lining hydro-cylinder communicates with a hydraulic control system through an oil inlet pipeline and an oil return pipeline; pressure sensors configured to detect pressures of the pipelines are provided on the oil inlet pipeline and the oil return pipeline; the tamping apparatus includes two pairs of tamping components arranged on both sides, where the tamping component includes a pair of packer arms and two pairs of packers; a dynamic force sensor is provided at a joint between the packer arm and the packer, and the dynamic force sensor can detect a transient dynamic downward insertion force generated when the packer is inserted into the ballast bed.

TAMPING UNIT FOR TAMPING SLEEPERS OF A TRACK
A tamping unit includes tamping tines and a squeezing drive for squeezing the tamping tines. A vibration exciter has an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder. The inner cylinder is disposed coaxially to a cylinder axis and is mounted for displacement in an axial direction along sliding or gliding surfaces in the outer cylinder. A ring-shaped recess is provided between the two sliding or gliding surfaces which are spaced from one another in the axial direction. A spacer ring, which subdivides the ring-shaped recess into two fluid channels, is connected selectively to the inner or outer cylinder. The fluid channels are spaced from one another relative to the axial direction. The two fluid channels can be hydraulically actuated alternatingly by feed lines for vibration excitation.
