PATIO BLOCKS WITH EDGE BLOCKS
A kit including a plurality of interior paving blocks and a plurality of edge paving blocks.
Lightweight universal panel mat
A lightweight universal panel mat (100, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 1100, 1500, 1800, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020) made of plastic or elastomeric material and having a first section that provides a relatively flat, textured or structured top surface to facilitate movement over the mat and a second section having geometry that includes a plurality of cells having top surfaces that support the first section. The panel mats have first, second, third and fourth sides (110,120,135,145) that are configured to matingly engage or connect to the second, third, fourth and first sides, respectively. The connection can be by insertion or snap-locking of one side to another, or by the use of fastening elements that more securely holds the sides together. Thus, similarly configured panel mats can be connected by interlocking to form a temporary support surface, deck, walkway or roadway. Additional side ramps (2030) and adapters (2050) can be used to facilitate installation of the mats (2005, 2010, 2015, 2020) and access to the upper surfaces of the joined mats.
Vehicle curb and advertisement system
A vehicle curb with advertising system including a bottom panel that is connected to a lower curved panel which is then connected to an upper curved panel. These panels distribute axial and translational forces, imparted by the vehicle's tires, by taking advantage of corrugation and curved designs. Further, the upper curved panel is connected to an upper retaining lip, which is then connected to a front concave panel, which is then connected to a lower front retaining lip. The two retaining lips contact the vehicle's tires and together with the concave panel, distribute the externally applied forces throughout the system. Further, the two front retaining lips provide an attaching means for a user to attach a logo or advertisement to the system. The system also has pads connected to the bottom panel that resist the externally applied forces by gripping the underlying floor, thus effectively stopping the vehicle without slippage.
Curb block
A curb block system includes a main curb block and a male tubular block. The main curb block includes: a body case formed through injection molding of a plastic material, having an open bottom, and including a plurality of vertical partition walls arranged therein to form a plurality of empty compartments; semicircular female slots vertically formed at opposite ends of an upper surface of the body case to face other main curb blocks adjacent thereto, respectively, and the male tubular block is inserted into and coupled to adjacent female slots of a pair of adjacent main curb blocks, has a thickness smaller than the width of the female slot such that an array of the adjacent main curb blocks can be two-dimensionally curved at a predetermined angle in a horizontal plane.
Lane construction safety system
A safety system for use along a longitudinal edge of an existing lane of a roadway includes a plurality of pre-formed ramp sections. Each of the ramp sections includes an upright wall configured to be positioned against the longitudinal edge of the existing lane. Each of the ramp sections further includes a top horizontal surface extending laterally outward from the upright wall to an outer edge. The top horizontal surface is positionable adjacent and substantially parallel to a surface of the existing lane when the upright wall is positioned against the longitudinal edge of the existing lane. Each of the ramp sections further includes a ramp surface sloped downward and laterally outward from the outer edge of the top horizontal surface to a terminal edge.

Modular flooring tiles and system
Modular floor tiles include a first surface configured to receive weight. The first surface is supported by primary walls interior to and extending the full height of the tiles, and which may be intersecting to form a grid. Secondary walls of a lesser height support the primary walls, may be non-linear such as circular, and may support either side of vertices of intersecting primary walls. Joining members and corresponding receivers in the sides of tiles are dimensioned to engage one another from adjacent tiles to join the tiles and restrict lateral movement. Fastener(s) in each tile are associated with slots and may be selectively moved between unlocked and locked positions to restrict vertical movement. Some embodiments include cable channels with corresponding cover plates, and inclined portions providing ramps. Any number and combination of tiles may be connected to one another to form a modular flooring system.
UNITIZED FORMED CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
A method for manufacturing unitized formed mineral-based construction materials includes providing starting materials of an aggregate, a cementing agent, a sublimation agent and water. The sublimation agent (between 25% and 50% by weight of the cementing agent) is selected from molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide, vanadium disulfide, copper sulfate, and combinations thereof. The method includes mixing the starting materials to achieve a mixture, placing the mixture into a form, and curing the mixture in the form for a time to allow the mixture to become a solidified unit defined by a minimum dimension of thickness, length, width or diameter. The method further includes placing the solidified unit into a kiln, heating the kiln to a temperature of 11151350 C., maintaining the kiln at the temperature for between 10-60 minutes per centimeter of the minimum dimension, and removing the solidified unit from the kiln.
DEVICE FOR HELPING A VEHICLE TO NEGOTIATE AN OBSTACLE
A device for helping a wheeled vehicle to negotiate an obstacle includes: a frame; a plate having two ends, a first end being movable between a high position and a low position in which the plate constitutes an access ramp; a flap constituting a front surface of the device when the plate is in the high position and provides ramp access when the plate is in the low position; and a drive assembly for driving the first end between the low position and the high position. The drive assembly includes an actuator and a carriage movable along a longitudinal axis. The device further includes a pair of side railings rigidly connected to the carriage, each having a control profile controlling the position of the plate, and a pair of resilient bars arranged between the flap and side railings.
Athletic field safety border
A border member for establishing a border around a synthetic turf field comprises: an elongated body molded from a flexible material; at least one notch formed in an upper surface of the elongated body and extending along a length of the elongated body; and a rigid spine embedded within the elongated body and extending along the length of the elongated body. The border member is positioned adjacent to the synthetic turf field such that a portion of synthetic turf of the synthetic turf field rests on the notch.
